Chapter 13: Welcome Back

CAT'S POV:

Today Jake and I are setting up the beach party while Jake's parents fetch Mike. I am so excited, I love planning parties. I just hope Mike likes me, I don't want to be the unwanted brother's girlfriend.

* 15 minutes to Mike arriving *

"Is what I am wearing, okay?" I ask Jake.

"Um, yeah , why?"

"Well, I don't want to look like a slut by MY kid brother." I say while wearing shorts and a netted top over my bikini .

"He won't , you look amazing and YOUR kid brother now hey?" and raises an eyebrow at me.

"Yip , I'm stealing your sibling. Okay lets go people have probably started to arrive now.: I say with a smirk and walk out onto the beach.

I am now just sitting and chilling with all of Mike's friends which means I was hanging out with a bunch of seven year olds. Jake is just so good at entertaining them , if there was only me they would be bored stiff.

A girl catches me looking at Jake, I think her name is Ashley. She asks in her sweet little voice,

"So do you like, like Jake?"

"Very much so." I reply not really thinking.

"But he has coodies ewwww...."

"Trust me one day you'll understand." I say looking at this little girl with crystal . blue eyes and golden hair. She looked perfect for the role for Goldilocks and the three little bears. I gave her a hug and whispered in her ear,

"Never grow up."

She is the same age as I was when my mother died and I had to grow up to deal with all the problems at home and I don't want that for her or any child to live through what I had to.

Then I saw that Jake's parents have arrived with Mike. My hands start to shake and become sweaty , why am I so nervous for a seven year old , Jake obviously sees I am nervous and stands next to me and wraps his arms around my waist to comfort me. As soon as the door of the car opens though I release Jake so he can go and say hi to his brother. He literally runs to the car and then I see the cutest seven year old boy I have ever seen. He has black hair and crystal blue eyes like Ashley and smiles a smile with faint dimples (like his bro ) when he sees Jake. Jake literally attacks him into a hug and then they play fight for a little bit and then start chatting. It seems mid chat when Jake signals me to come over. I run over and before I say any thing Mike looks and at me and asks ,

" Are you my new sister that can cook , act ,sing , does karate and kicks butt in Call Of Duty." I am a bit shocked that he asked am I his new sister but then I replied ,

"I don't know about all those things but I know I can kick butt in Call Of Duty."

"Jake I like her ." he says with the cutest grin cause you can see that two teeth near the front are missing and I can't resist soi just hug him . He hugs back but then screams, "Coodies!" but when I pull back he still has the same cute grin on his face . Afterwards he takes my hand and introduced me to all his friends as his 'new sister ' , how cute .....

Today has been alot of fun with lots of games especially soccer . Mike and I were not the same team against Jake and we gained up on him the whole time so he didn't have a chance . The one time was really funny cause even though I had already scored the goal he still tackled me to the ground and then just before he tried to kiss me Mike came and tackled him and while they were having their tackling match I stripped off my shorts and netted top while running into the ocean with my bikini on while singing we are the champions.

I didn't realise that the water was quite cold but at the same time quite refreshing . As I was enjoying the water I felt something wrap around my waist just when I was gonna scream bloody murder I looked up to see it was just Jake so I said,

" Jesh Jake , Give me a heart attack next time ." and as usual he said ,

"Sure '" with that cocky smirk on his face.

Then he cupped my cheek and was just staring at me , I thought there was something wrong but then Jake said ,

" Don't worry I am just admiring your beauty for a second ." and just before we kissed  wave crashed on us and I fell on top of Jake but with Jake and mike's family and friends on the beach I quickly fell back on the side And say that Jake had a adorable but hurt look on his face , oh my gosh is he hurt by this . so I ask ,

"Jake are you okay ?"

" yip ," he says with a big grin to cover it up so i decided its the best time to make fun of him .

"awww , did I  hurt the little   boys feeling." so Jake simply throws me over his shoulder and walks towards the others while I playfully smack his back while trying to get off.

We have reached them now and Jake still hasn't put me down so I say ,

"Jake I want to talk to everyone you know , so can you put me down ,"

"sure ." he says and while I think he is gonna put me down but he just turns around so I am facing everybody. So I signal Mike to come closer and whisper, " You need to tickle Jake so he puts me down please."

He replies ," no problem  ."

and just when we are  done Jake turns around towards Mike and says , "are you two talking behind my back ?" so Mike and I both say "yip." while popping the 'p' and then Mike starts tickling Jake and Jake loosens his grip on my waist so I quickly jump off his back but it doesn't stop there soon enough everyone , including Jake and Mike's parents, are tickling Jake.

Everything was just so perfect ....

sorry its been a long time since I have updated but I was lacking inspiration , but I have some really good ideas so I should update more often if school doesn't become toooooo hectic . hope this longish chapter makes up for it . thank you if you are still reading .
