Chapter 10

{Jack's P.O.V}

"Jeez, what's taking so long?" I thought.

It was the end of another school day and I was sitting at our table in the library, waiting for Elsa to come back.

For the past few days, she's been coming to the library and reading some books.

It's not like I'm against it or anything, but she hasn't been paying any attention to Hiccup and Merida...

...but boy-- if she had been!

Day by day, you could see Hiccup struggle even more. Merida's knowledge of Scotland has been fading away, resulting to Merida talking all about sports.

One thing I know the most about Hiccup is that he despises sports. Hates them from the bottom of his geeky little heart.

I'm no know-it-all, but from the looks of it; he's not getting anywhere with her now.

I can't even remember how many times he's attempted to change the topic! From forcing a laugh, to full on pushing himself to his limit!

After a while of awkward staring, Merida was the first to break the silence... by slapping Hiccup hard on the face.

"Ye little...!!! How dare ye steal a kiss from me!" Merida said, repeatedly hitting him now.

"...and in front of Elsa, too!!!"

Oh no... Elsa... where is she...?

I looked at Hiccup. He was confused and deep in thought.

"W-well... she wouldn't have seen us if you guys haven't been stalking u-us everyday!" Hiccup was trying to cover himself, and he was doing a horrible job...

But...

...it seems he did know about what we were doing... or what I was doing at least.

Merida then got up and walked towards the book on the ground, picking it up and handing it to me.

"After seeing us, she dropped this book..." Merida said.

As I grabbed the book, both me and Merida were able to see the title; "Scotland Fun Facts" it read.

"Scot... land...?" Merida read out loud.

Ah... so that's what she was doing.

She overheard them talking about Scotland and so she...
