︳Bummy
Can you meet at our normal spot?

︳Junior
Yeah, already on my way there

Jinyoung walked unusually slow to the bench under the old oak tree. All his classmates passed him up on their way to class not even bothering to excuse themselves as they bumped past him. They were used to him not showing up due to missing the bus or choosing to hang out with Jaebum. He didn't know that they looked forward to those days that he didn't show up. It gave them the chance to talk about things other than homework.

After a while, he stepped off the sidewalk and sprinted across the grass when he saw that Jaebum beat him to the spot. His hyung was face deep on the phone probably looking at whatever he called them to meet for. Jinyoung brought his sprint to a silent walk as he snuck behind Jaebum carefully.

"Don't do it," Jaebum lifted a finger making the younger boy stop. Jinyoung snapped his fingers before he sat on the empty spot next to Jaebum. "I didn't do English and Jackson already warned me that teacher-nim wasn't going to open the windows knowing the air is broken."

Jinyoung rested his head on Jaebum's shoulder trying to get a good view of his screen. "So you want to skip?" he muttered while reading his hyung's text to his mom. "Because I still have one absence left that won't count against me." Jaebum chuckled at the fact that Jinyoung knew that. "I'm serious. I counted this morning."

"I know you did." Jaebum placed his hand on the side Jinyoung's head and gave him a light squeeze. "That's my version of a hug in this position, Jinyoung."

"Can you give me a real one? That makes me think your losing strength in our friendship." Jinyoung lifted his head an pouted to his older. Jaebum tried to ignore it but with each whimper escaping Jinyoung's closed mouth, he got weaker. "Please, Jaebummy?" Jinyoung now had his hands clasped together while leaning on Jaebum's arm.

Without warning, Jaebum turned and pulled Jinyoung against his chest. Like a bear hitting the gym, he squeezed Jinyoung with all his strength. It made his dongsaeng laugh with the little air in his lungs. "Is this strong enough for you?" Jinyoung struggled, but he was eventually able to shake his head in disagreement. Jaebum was running out of energy, but it was coming from somewhere since the hug got tighter. "Now?"

"Oh my god! Ah! My back is dividing into two!" Jaebum released Jinyoung and let him fall on the grass. "So strong Jaebummy!" Jinyoung managed to cough out his lung in the process. "Can we go again?" Jaebum lightly kicked the boy on his leg. Jinyoung helped himself up and took his spot back. "Is that how you'll hug your girlfriend one day?"

"Huh?" Jaebum thought he misheard the boy but when Jinyoung repeated himself Jaebum was flustered instantly. "Only if she asks to."

Jinyoung poked Jaebum softly on the cheek and grinned widely. "You wanna know what she'll say?" Jaebum ignored Jinyoung while swatting his hand away. "She'll start off by saying 'oppa' then—" Jaebum covered Jinyoung's mouth not bothering to hide the blush forming on his cheeks. "Ah! You like oppa?"

Jinyoung pushed himself closer to Jaebum just to make him sweat bullets. It wasn't until he heard the sounds of girls squealing that he backed away to see what was going on. As always, it was Hwaryeong and her group of fangirls snapping pictures and pointing fingers at the two boys. Jaebum cleared his throat when one girl called them cute.

"Hyung?" Jinyoung whispered after a while. "Why did you want to meet again?"

"I just didn't want to go to class, but now that I think about it..." Jinyoung's eyes trailed to Jaebum's side profile. He knew he was changing his mind even though the both of them knew it was too late to try sneaking into class. "...maybe we skipped enough. I'll text you during his lecture."

Jinyoung nodded quickly while wetting his lips. Jaebum got up without another glance. Leaving Jinyoung to sit alone, the younger knew he wasn't going to go to class. Instead, he hid in the restrooms until the bell rung.
