THE END & EXPLANATION

many are confused about the ending and the whole story line of the book.

basically, jinyoung hid the fact that he was gay from jaebum because he was scared of jaebum's reaction. obviously jaebum was in denial about being gay until he met keuran which made him realize who he was. keuran was also a terrible person who was the reason for everything that went wrong in their relationship (trying to get jinyoung to fall for youngjae and creating that website to get jaebum to not like jinyoung) she got exposed because youngjae (who didn't know she even made the website only knew that she liked jaebum) found out she was the website creator.

their friendship/relationship isn't that solid anymore as you can tell by how jaebum is now the one soft for jinyoung and how jaebum is jealous that jinyoung still talks to youngjae.

first chapter and last chapter is very similar because of the setting and the events that happened like how jaebum at first was uncomfortable with being called oppa (because he was unhappy with low key knowing he was gay) and in the last chapter he's okay with saying it and calling jinyoung it because now he's happy with himself.
