                              Elizabeth's P.O.V.
I sat on a bench with my knees pulled to my chest. The taste of iron in my mouth. Eyes squeezed so tight that they could rip. Limbs shaking like leaves in a storm. Neck and face covered in salty moisture. My phone sat in my pocket on fire from all the buzzing. I thought it was the boys were worried about me, but my mind told me it was just because they had to watch me.
"Elizabeth!" I heard Zach yell and then loud footsteps toward me. It sounded like they were running but I didn't raise my head.
"Why haven't you answered your phone?" Jonah asked as the footsteps got quieter.
"Are you okay?" Jack asked. It sounded like they were right in front of me so I wiped my eyes and nose than sat up to look at them.
"Yeah." I lied. I could tell my face was red and my makeup was smeared but I was still gonna lie.
"Do you wanna leave?" Corbyn asked after a couple seconds of silence. I guess the boys already knew I wasn't huge into admitting things.
"No, I'm good. You guys can continue your shopping. I'm just gonna stay here." I said looking at the fountain than back at them. They were all looking at each other as if not sure what to do next.
"I'll stay with her. You guys go on ahead." Daniel said sitting down a few inches from me.
"Alright," Zach says after another few moments passed. The boys walked off leaving me and Daniel sitting on the bench. I sighed and rested my chin on my knees.
"So gonna tell me what happened?" Daniel asked. I stayed quiet for a few minutes as I could feel his eyes burning into the side of my head.
                              "Just got bored," I mumbled.
"People don't cry over things when they just get bored." Daniel pointed out.
"I'm not like other people," I muttered wanting this conversation to end.
                              "Liz-" Daniel says.
"Women are bitches! Is that what you wanted to hear?" I asked throwing my arms up and my legs to the floor.
"Why are women...jerks?" He asked not wanting to repeat me. I looked back at the fountain and away from him.
"Some lady told me I was too ugly and poor to be standing in Ulta..." I mumbled. Daniel didn't respond and I looked over at him. He was staring at the fountain and rolled his eyes.
"Don't listen to her." He said looking at me. Before I could disagree he continued. "Shes just jealous."
"Of what?" I asked rolling my eyes.
"How pretty you are." He said making my face heat up.
                              "Yeah right," I muttered.
"Alright," Daniel said not wanting to fight with me. I glanced at him to see him looking at the fountain again. I sighed and laid my head on my shoulder as I watched people walk around the mall. "Tonight me and the guys planned a dinner for you." He said after a long pause.
"Why?" I asked looking at him.
"Cause you deserve it after Corbyn and Zach's abuse yesterday." He said making me chuckle.
"Well, thanks but I don't have anything to wear," I muttered.
"Than let's go buy you something." He said standing up. I looked at him annoyedly. "My treat." He smiled holding out his hand to me.
"Fine," I muttered trying not to smile. I grabbed his hand and he helped me stand up. We began walking to stores and I just kinda followed unsure what to really do. Store after store I tried on dresses and refused to actually come out of the dressing rooms to show Daniel what they looked like on. I didn't pick out any of the dresses. I was too uncomfortable to like any of them so Daniel had to pick them all out. We walked past a shop with a ton of puppies for sale and my feet stopped. I starred at all the puppies in the different kennels and slowly fell in love.
