"What? Am I not worthy enough for your flames?" Bakugous voice rings in my head from our fight in the festival. He was so full of emotion. You would think he would be happy to have won, but his pride got the best of him. I don't blame him though, what's the point in winning if the others aren't doing their best? Fighting Midoriya had set me free, but I forgot my ways. I know this power is mine, and its my choice what to do with it whether that be good or evil. I just can't be that easily persuaded though, I have this battle within myself every time I even think of using these flames. Midoriya made me forget all of that, but still I only keep Bakugous voice in my mind. His voice had been in my head for weeks, and I can't shake it out. "Todoroki, what's on your mind?" a bold feminine voice comes from behind me. I guess I've been staring into space for quite sometime now. I can't help it, I mean when this is all you can hear its almost impossible to block it out. "Todoroki?" the voice calls again and a petite hand touches my shoulder softly. Its Momo, I know this, but why can't I respond? "Oh, it's nothing, but thank you for your concern." I shrug her off, and hope that she leaves it be. I don't want to have to lie to her, but I don't feel like talking. Actually, that's a lie, I want to talk to Bakugou. He is more then worthy of an oponnent, and why I didn't use my flames against him I have no idea. Surely I would have easily won against him if I used them. Did I want him to win? He has been pushing himself all year, but he also has been a jerk to everyone in the class. I can see the determination in his eyes each time he battles. This isn't just a dream of his, it is the only thing that he will accept. He isn't here to joke around, or make friends Bakugou is here for business. The deep emotion I felt when I was out of bounds, he wanted me to use my flames. Not to taunt me, he wanted me to be my best. He wanted to bring the best out of me just like Midoriya. I fully regret not doing it, it haunts me everyday of my life. "What? Am I not worthy enough for your flames?" the vision replays in my mind, and kills me each time it repeats. I can't go on like this, something has to happen. "Bakugou, I-I just come here." I reach for his shoulder, but he quickly dodges my gesture. "You Icy Hot bastard, I will never get over what you did to me. You humiliated me in front of everyone, the whole country. Don't come up to me like we are friends because we are far from that. I should incinerate you right now where you stand." his evil smile shines through as the lines build up in his eyes. I sigh loudly right in his face, I don't have time for this. "Just come here." I say in my usual stern voice. I need to get this off my chest to finally be okay. I can't keep living like this, I will go insane. I move behind a corner, and wait for him to follow. Of course I don't expect him to come right away, but I do know his curiosity will get the best of him. "Okay bastard you have ten seconds to entertain me before I blow you to smithereens." he crosses his arms with that impatient look that he gives to everyone, or almost everyone. If you hadn't noticed I'm a man who observes everything. I can study a person just by the way their eyes are, let alone hearing them speak. "You are a worthy openent." I sputter not really thinking how else to put it. That was mostly the main thing I had wanted to say. "What?" he growls, but not as aggressively as I thought he would. As I sigh again the veins in Bakugous forehead stick out like a sore thumb. "Icy Hot if you don't stop doing that annoying shit I will murder you." he threatens lifting his hand. Of course I'm not intimidated by him, I can hold my own against him easily when having my full power. "At he sports festival, you said What? Am I not worthy enough for your flames? Well, you are more than a worthy openent. I know nothing can take back what I had taken from you, but just know that it echoes in my mind daily." I begin to speak. His face seems more calm now, and it almost seemed like this is what he wanted to hear. "What's the point in saying this to me?" he says calmly lowering his hand, and leaning more on his right leg. "I couldn't continue on with that constantly being in my conscious so I was hoping by doing this I would get some peace." my voice never wavers, and stays the same pitch. I don't know why, but my voice is always the same. Calm, and holds a more serious tone to it. I guess its from the way I was raised by my father. Nothing was ever a joke, only serious training that lead to excruciating pain. "Well if that's all you have to say then I'll be on my way training for our rematch." he pushes past me, and goes back to his friend Kirishima. I watch closely, and go back over to my little spot. "So what was that all about?" Momo squints her eyes as I lean back against a wall. I roll me eyes, and continue to watch him closely. Even though I confronted the issue it still echoes in my mind. I can't get over him, I just wanted him to win so badly. I didn't want there to be a chance that he would lose. The determination within him, if he had loss that fight his spirit would be crushed. Everything he had worked so hard for would be gone. What kind of heartless being would I be to take that away from him? "Just leave it be Momo." I warn turning my gaze to her. Momo and I are actually quite good friends I just don't really want to talk to anyone else at the moment. To many things are racing through my head to even concentrate. After class all of the students head to the dorms. We only go home over the weekends, and its only Tuesday. My roommate fortunately is Izuku Midoriya. He isn't as nerdy as you think he is I promise. "Hey Todoroki." Midoriya smiles exceedingly making his freckles pop out. He jumps on his bed, and props his head on his hands. "Hey Midoriya what's up?" I give a little smirk and sit on my own bed. We usually always make small talk, and we actually got pretty close. "Oh you know just trying to get this quirk under control." he rubs the back of his head nervously, and a light chuckle slips from my mouth. "You know I could try to help if you wanted me to." I offer, but he just nods his head no. "I love the offer but I wouldn't want to trouble you. You seem like you've been busy anyway.." he trails off avoiding eye contact. Is it really that obvious that I'm not act like the usual? Within a few seconds a loud boom comes from a couple doors down. "Guess Kachaan isn't to happy is he?" Midoriya sighs, and lays his head back. It baffles me how much he cares about Bakugou even though Bakugou hates him. No matter the threats Bakugou makes Midoriya chooses to kill with kindness. "Guessing not, I think I might go check things out. I know Kirishima can handle him, but just to make sure.." I pause as a simple smile appears onhis face. "I think that would be nice, I'm probably going to take a quick nap." he closes his eyes, and lays his head on his pillow. I shake my head, and quietly make my way out of the room. After closing the door I rushed down the hall a couple doors down. The door is completely broken, and is blasted all to bits. A series of explosions can now behward further down the hall. "Oh lord, not another rampage." I whisper to myself, and look more into the room. Kirishima and Kaminari sit on the beds wide eyed, and frozen still. If it isn't Kirishima then who is he after? I sprint down the hall to try to catch IP to him. The loud explosions lead me right to his tracks. "Bakugou what're you doing?" I yell trying to freeze him. He knows my tricks all to well to be held by that one. "Bastard! Leave me alone!" he growls continuing to blast down the hallway. He finally makes it outside with me following right behind him. As many blasts as he has done he should be running out soon. "GO AWAY TODOROKI I'M WARNING YOU!" he turns quickly with the eyes of the devil. He has never used my actual name before so this must be pretty serious. "Bakugou who are you even after?" I ask gently hoping to ease the mood. I know nothing will calm him, but it may keep him from blowing anything else up. "None of your business." he spits on the ground, and crosses his arms. Okay, at least he isn't growling anymore so that's a plus. "Well, when you obliterate your door, and cause massive destruction to everything it kind of is my business." I state trying to take a step closer to him. By now his back is turned towards me, and I place a hand on his shoulder. "What part of leave me alone do you not understand you illiterate fuck." he snaps throwing my hand off of him. I hear a couple of sniffles, and decide to turn him around forceably. "Bakugou, I..." I freeze. Is there a tear falling down his cheek? Bakugou is never sad, only cocky, only confident, only high spirited. This isn't anything like the Bakugou I know. The one that always threatens everyone even though he doesn't remember their names. That's the Bakugou we have all gotten used to, but this is someone new. "Shut up loser nothings wrong, I'm not weak, I can handle myself." he uses his forearm to wipe his tears, and tries to turn away. Forcing him to stop I look at him intensely in the face. "Bakugou, you don't like me, actually you don't like most people. I am out here trying to be a friend. Quit pushing me away, or you really will be alone. Listen, I'll make Midoriya leave and we can chill in my dorm, or we can get Kirishima to.." he cuts me off with a quick explosion to the face. I jump back in shock, and pain as my vision comes back to me. "Do not mention either one of those names in front of me." he growls holding onto his hands. He's over doing it with all these random explosions. "Okay, understood, but will you take the offer?" I stand my ground, and watch as his snarl turns to a gentle scowl. "Fine, but not to hangout with you. I'm pretty sure my bed is non existing." he rolls his eyes, and follows me back into the academy. "If I see Deku I'm going to kill him." he spits staring at me door. I sigh, and enter in the dorm. "Midoriya do me a favor and stay the night in a different dorm." I plainly say waking him up from his nap. He rubs his eyes, and looks at me confusingly. "I'm letting Bakugou stay here tonight.." I start but Midoriya instantly jumps up. "Oh yeah, good idea I better go." he panics, and rushes out the door. I nod my head slowly, geez he really is terrified of Bakugou isn't he? A few seconds later Bakugou inches his way into the room, and sits on a little end table. "I refuse to sit anywhere Deku sits." he stares at Midoriyas bed and I quickly switch to it. "There, you can sit on my bed then." I offer, and he gladly takes it. I can't believe he hates Midoriya that much to the point he won't even sit on his bed. "So what happened? It's obvious you weren't chasing anyone which means you were running? I'm just confused on this whole situation. Which I mean if you don't want to talk about it we don't have to, we can just chill." I say flipping on the TV. I see a couple small tears fall down his cheeks, but he turns to watch what's on. "Here, you can pick the channel." I throw him the remote, and wait to see what he turns it too. I highly doubt he wants to watch anything Midoriya had on here. The room goes dark, and to my surprise the TV had been turned off. "Turn a lamp or something on loser." he scowls through the dark, and I quickly reach over to pull the string to the lamp. "You hardly talk to anyone but that damn annoying headache Deku so I expect you to shut your mouth about this extra." he mumbles looking down to the ground. "Also I'm not crazy, and I at least need one other person to know about this." he starts to fiddle with his hands, and nervously stares toward the ground. "You have my word I won't tell anyone." I reassure him, and lean my back against the wall. "Okay, and you better not laugh either you asshole." he growls, but quickly takes a deep breath. "It was Kirishima..." he pauses, and looks up with huge tears in his eyes.
