Todoroki's POV
"Hey cute ass wake the hell up!" A jolt of pain shoots through me as I feel someone nudging my side. "Ow shit." I mumble opening my eyes. Oh wait, it's Bakugou why the hell is he up so early? Shit, I forgot we're leaving today aren't we? "I got all of our stuff packed except your sleeping bag. Aizawa said we need to take the tents down now which means you have to get up." He puts one of my arms around his neck, and lifts up on me. Oh god, I'm more sore today then I was yesterday. "I figured you'd still be weak so I'll handle everything okay? Don't you even dare think about working." He snaps as he sets me down on a rock. He didn't even let me put my shoes on, which I'm thankful for. If I put those things on now all of these blisters would open back up. Quickly he takes the tent down, and folds it back up. "Let me take this to Aizawa, and then we'll go get breakfast." He smiles speed walking towards the bus. I sit in silence shaking my head as he hurries back. He wraps my arm around him again, and lifts me up. "Are you sure I'm not embarrassing you?" I ask as we make our way towards the tables. He immediately stops dead in his tracks giving me the most hatred filled expression. It looked like every time he looks at Denki. "You could never embarrass me. Anyway I don't give a single fuck what they think. You're hurt, and I will do everything in me to take care of you." He whispers before moving again. He sits me in my usual seat, and goes to fetch breakfast. "Aw so Bakugou is actually helping you?" Momo asks with a bright smile on her face. I smile back, and give a little nod. "Yeah he's been a huge help." I admit as I see him making his way to our table. He plops a granola bar in front of me, and takes his seat. "Why'd you quit talking whenever I came?" He growls annoyed. "Good morning to you too Bakugou, and I was just saying how good it is that you're helping him." Momo smiles trying to lighten up the mood. He brushes her off though, and digs into his breakfast. "So Todoroki how are you feeling?" Jiro asks, and I can feel Bakugou start to tense up beside me. He's always on defense when it comes to her, and I don't know particularly why. "Honestly I feel like shit. I feel worse today then I did last night." I admit as they nod their heads quietly. "Well, we won at least.." Fumikage tries to add to make things better. "Yeah I guess we did win." I smirk a bit, but start to wince. I know I sound like a huge pussy, but damn my body hurts. Like a bus just completely ran over me, and then backed up to hit me again. "Alright we didn't want to tell you this till now, but you all get to go home for about five days. That means call your parents, and make sure that they are there to pick you up. I am not giving anyone a ride home!" Aizawa yells as everyone gets pumped up. We haven't been home in so long it feels like. It seems like everyone but me is excited to go home. "I can't wait to see my parents!" I hear Ochaco yell happily. Good for her, I definitely don't want to see my father. Especially looking like how I do now. My siblings will also be a pain about it. Ugh, I wish I had the option to stay in the dorms.
"Hey, you have to pick me up when we get to the academy." I text my father hoping he would at least open it. He hardly ever answers me texts, or even answers my calls. "Have Eraserhead bring you because I'm busy." I read his text, and tightly clutch my phone. He really can't take fifteen minutes out of his damn day for me. Wow what I fucking dad he is. "Are you okay?" Momo asks breaking me out of my state of mind. "Oh yeah I'm fine just trying to get ahold of my dad." I lie. I'm not fucking fine I'm far from it. However I doubt anyone wants to hear about me and my daddy issues. Except maybe Bakugou, he might want to hear about it. "He said he isn't taking anyone home." I reply back hoping this would change his mind. I think we all know how this story is going to end though. "Then tough I guess walk." He sends me another message, but after this I don't reply. Screw him then I'll find my own way. "I can take you home." Bakugou grumbles staring at my phone. I normally would be pissed that someone is reading my conversation, but it's Bakugou. He already knows my situation, and plus I don't mind him reading my texts. "Alright Get on the bus!" He motions for us to move, and I instantly regret even trying. "What the hell did I tell you?" Bakugou sets me back down before picking me up. "I told your ass not to move! You need to heal.." he trails off as he realizes our whole group was listening to him. "Oh fuck you someone's got to do it." He growls as we head on the bus. He chooses one of the big seats in the back, and lays me down in it. "Are you comfortable?" He asks making sure to prop my head against the window. He's so adorable when he's like this even when he has to pretend we aren't dating. "Yes it's perfect." I give a quick smile, but it quickly fades as Denki and Kirishima take a seat next to us. I peak over at Kirishima to see him not smiling for once. Actually, he hasn't been smiling, or talking all day. It can't be something to have to do with those two, or they wouldn't be sitting next to each other. "Of course these pricks had to sit next to us." Bakugou spits without even looking at them. Kirishima just sighs, and puts his head down. "Hey everyone we're making a class 1-A group chat so everyone come put your numbers in." Mina yells holding up her phone. One by one we each go up there putting our numbers in for the chat. "Give me your number, and I'll put it in for you." Bakugou pulls out his phone, and goes to new number. "Are you sure this isn't just a secret way to ask for my number?" I tease and grab his phone typing in my number. He gives me a little wink before taking it back, and goes up to where Mina is. "Oh Bakugou you actually want to be in it?" She chirps excitedly. I guess nobody really expected him to want to do it. "Shut up Raccoon eyes." He growls and quickly comes back to sit beside me. "Now I got your number, and I'm going to know where you live. Isn't that interesting?" He gives a little daring smile before getting interrupted. "Listen, you'll be fine, you got my number right? Just text me all the time, and I will be there. I will talk to you as much as possible, and be there for you..." Denki whispers loudly to where even I could hear them. They both turn to look at us, then go back to whispering quietly. I wonder what all of that is about? Is he really going to miss him that much over five days? Come to think about it though I'm going to be missing Bakugou a lot. All I want to do is just cuddle him, and I can't do that if I'm home. "Just ignore them.." Bakugou whispers leaning his head on my shoulder. I guess he must be pretty tired too. He packed both our bags, put them on the bus, took down the tent, carried me around all day. I don't even know what time he went to sleep. I pet his spiky hair softly, and wait for him to fall asleep. "Hey Todoroki the secret life is pretty great isn't it?" Denki smiles, but a genuine smile not one of those sneaky I'm going to fuck you up type smiles. "Yeah.." I smile looking down at Bakugou. To wake up to him every morning would be the greatest thing on the entire planet. "Also sorry for messing you up like that, but you and Bakugou don't need those letters like we do. I guess I let winning control my mind before I let friendship." He apologizes while rubbing the back of his head. He gives me a nervous smile. "It's okay I understand, and you're right we don't need those letters. The others in our group needed them though." I explain, but instantly turn back to Bakugou. He looks so peaceful when he's asleep. Like there's not a care in the world, just him in his little dream world. Shortly the bus stops though, and I gently wake Bakugou up. "Hey, we stopped for some reason." I whisper as he finally opens his eyes. "What the hell..." he starts, but instantly turns pissed. "Hell no your not tricking my ass!" He yells tensing up. Aizawa soon stands, and turns to all of us. "It's not a trick, we just stopped to let these ducks cross the road." He sits back down, and we all exhale the long breaths that we've been holding. "What's wrong with you?" He looks over at Kirishima who is still putting his head down. Usually if there was a cute animal he would be all on the window trying to look at them. "He isn't feeling well." Denki snaps, and I was sure Bakugou was going to blow the fuck up. He doesn't though, but watches over at him carefully. "We're almost at the school so I hope you all have rides home." Aizawa yells back, but we just ignore him. The bus is now filled with chatter, and you can barley even hear yourself think. "My moms picking us up. Warning we act just alike, and argue all the time so don't be intimidated." Bakugou warns me as we pull into the school. He carries me off the bus, and sets me on the sidewalk. "I'll grab our stuff, and put it in the trunk." He quickly grabs our stuff, and heads over to a car who is rolling its windows down. "ASSHOLE LEAVING YOUR FRIEND ON THE SIDEWALK!" I hear a woman yell, and watch as Bakugou tenses up. "WELL I HAVE TO PUT OUR SHIT UP FIRST!" He yells throwing our stuff in the trunk. Walking back I can see the lines in his eyes, and him gritting his teeth. "Sorry for this." He apologizes while taking me to the car. "You know you look like a sweet boy. So you're friends with Katsuki?" She smiles brightly at me, and I smile back. First impressions are important, and what she doesn't know is she's looking at her sons boy friend. "Yeah he's really strong, and actually a nice guy." I try to describe him, but not to the point where it's weird. "Nice? You're a funny one, he's an asshole!" She laughs watching him as he goes to the other side of the car. "What the hell did you just say?" He growls taking a seat next to me. "I didn't stutter." She looks back at him through the rear view mirror. "Okay sweetie now where do you live?" She smiles sweetly to me, but shoots a death glare at Bakugou. "Go down three streets, and then make a left. After that I will tell you where to go because it's a little tricky." I watch out the window to make sure she goes the right way. "Okay now go for a couple miles into the city, and I'll tell you when to turn." I face back to her who is still smiling as sweet as ever. You know Bakugou said the act alike, which is very true, but they also look a lot alike. She is so beautiful I wonder what man could handle her. "You know you remind me a lot of my husband." She says randomly, and I nearly choke. "Not the way you look of course, but the way you act. Your calm, and even though Bakugou is an asshole who treats everyone badly you can still handle him." Her smile softens, and I smile politely back. "Well thank you, and yeah I do tend to be more calm." I look over at Bakugou who seems to be bored with the conversation. "QUIT BEING RUDE AND TALK TO YOUR FRIEND!" She yells trying to whack him in the head. He starts to growl, and swats her hand away. "HOW THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO TALK TO HIM IF YOU ARE!" He yells back, but quickly shuts his mouth when she hits him on top of the head. He rubs it, and puts on a little pouty face. "Oh boohoo here's a tissue for your issue." She rolls her eyes, and continues to drive. "Your house must be pretty big huh?" He says staring out the window at the tall buildings. "Yeah, I have a lot of siblings though so it still feels pretty smile." I smirk as we pass the park I usually spend time in. I go here to get some alone time, and to train. "Okay so you want to make a left here, but then make a quick right." I explain, and simple enough she follows the directions. "Okay now there's this tunnel you go through then you turn right, and it's the third house." We make our way into the tunnel, and a feeling of loneliness washes over me. We are so close to my home which means I'll be leaving Bakugou soon. "Todoroki Residence? You're a Todoroki! Your dad is like one of the greatest heroes ever! He must be really proud of you for wanting to be a hero." She smiles while stopping at my gate. If only she knew my story she would know how wrong she is. Bakugou looks at me with an apologetic expression, but it's not his fault. I mean of course he wouldn't tell her, it's our secret. "Thank you for the ride it was so nice meeting you." I smile at her while waving. "Oh anytime sweetie you were wonderful talking too! Beats listening to his trap the whole time." She points to Bakugou laughing. "What the hell ever!" He yells at her before looking to me. "Text me alright? I'll see you later." He says rolling up his window and pulling out his phone. They start to drive away when a little buzz comes from my pocket. "I'll miss you.." the text says as I see him staring out the back waving goodbye to me. I didn't think it was going to be this hard, but it's only been a few seconds without him and I already miss him. Not to mention I don't even think I can make it into my house because my feet are still fucking dead. So this should be one hell of a pain.
