Deku's day

Todoroki's POV

I sit in the room silently waiting on Midoriyas soft knock. It's been a while since we've actually been able to hangout, and I kind of miss it. I can still remember the night when I asked if he could leave. The knock comes shortly, and I let him in. "Long time no see.." I laugh as he enters the room. His soft smile brightens his face. "It's been way to long!" He agrees. We used to talk about so many things. Why did we even stop? "So, what do you want to do?" I ask as he fiddles with his thumbs. "I was thinking like old days we could go to the cafe, and then chill at the park." He offers with a little smile. I smile back remembering all of those times after school we would go out to relax. He used to be one of my closest friends besides Momo, and I feel bad for ditching him. I guess you could say I haven't been the greatest friend to him. "That sounds perfect.." I say standing up. We leave the building, and make our way to the cafe down the street. It's pretty small, and not many people go into it. "Hey guys! You havent been here in a while! I thought maybe you found yourself another cafe!" The clerk teases taking us to our usual table. "So, getting the old usual, or feeling a little more daring?" She asks with a kind smile. She is an older woman, and actually is the owners wife. "I will get my usual.." I smile back, and wait on him. We both get our usuals, and sit in silence. "So how's the family doing? Your sister doing any better?" He asks making small talk. I always talked to him about my family, especially my sister. "She's doing pretty good, still keeping the family together. What about your mom?" I ask as he nervously sighs. "She still isn't enthusiastic with me staying away all of the time, but I think she is accepting it." He laughs as our orders come to the table. "Now you boys know you can just yell for me, and I will be right over." Both thanking her we sip our cappuccinos, and stare out the window. Today is a beautiful day, the sun is out not a cloud in sight, the breeze is perfect to keep you cooled, all the people are out. "It sure is a pretty day! So Ochaco told me what you all did to Bakugou. That was pretty amazing! You actually got to do what you've always wanted." He laughs as I try not to choke on my drink. I really wish I could have seen him tip over into the water. The look on his face would have been priceless. "Well what about you? The tidepod prank definitely caught us all off guard." We Both start to chuckle. I never knew of him being into pranks. "Well, you know if I refused how badly it would have turned out. Plus, it's good to have fun once in a while." We take our drinks, and head over to the park. Picking a bench by the pond we stare as children feed bread to the ducks. Laughter fills the air by all of the happy families surrounding us. Truly you could never pick a better place to be. "So, you really like him don't you?" He says looking at me out of the corner of his eyes. I can't help but to get butterflies every time I even think about Bakugou. It's more then a like.. " yeah, I never really expected it to be honest. I thought we would always clash, but somehow it worked out. It's more then a like though, I really truly think I love him." I smile closing my eyes. I love to imagine us in the future together being the unstoppable duo. Side by side making the city safe, and both of us being the number one heroes. "Good, you deserve to feel like this. I'm glad someone finally got to see the soft side of him. Even though he hates me I still care about him. I care about you both, and it makes me happy to see you two together." He smiles before taking another drink. "Also I saw you with Ochaco last night. You want to explain?" I smile as his face flushes to a bright red. He has always been awkward when it comes to girls, but for some reason it never bothers her. "Oh that... It was nothing..." He mutters, but his bright red cheeks say otherwise. "Mhm, now tell me what really went down?" I ask again as he takes a deep breath. "I finally got the nerve to kiss her last night, and she actually kissed me back! I don't think we are dating yet, I'm not entirely sure. You know I suck at everything when it comes to girls. She is so amazing though, and everything I could have asked for!" He explains with a soft smile. I am very familiar with this smile, it's like the one I get when talking about Bakugou. "Well if you already kissed, then you both know you like each other. I think you should ask her, or maybe take her out on a day like this then ask her. Either way she is definitely going to say yes, just have some confidence." I sat trying to comfort him. This is the first time he has ever actually kissed a girl so I'm glad it went well. Besides, who could resist his cute chubby face? "Thanks Todo! I'm going to make it special just for her." He smiles as we watch as the sun sets over the water. The bright colors reflect off the water making the entire park look as though it is shining. "I had a lot of fun with you today. We should do it more often." He smiles as we walk towards the school. I definitely don't want to get locked out again. "Well I hope everything works out with Ochaco!" I nudge him as he starts blushing. It's so easy to get him flustered. "T-thanks.. I hope you and Kachan stay happy together." He waves before going to his new dorm. Today was actually pretty fun, and relaxing. I guess when I'm around Bakugou I don't realize how stressed I am, and today just released all of it. Hopefully Bakugou had just as much fun as I did. "THAT IS IT BASTARDS YOUR DEAD!" Well, spoke to soon. The sound of explosions echo through the halls. "Come on Sero hurry!" Kirishima chuckles speeding down the hall. "Okay guys scatter!" Mina yells. Footsteps surround every hall as I peak around the wall. The hall is like a four way road, but it just leads to more dorms. "Son of a bitch..." Bakugou growls not sure what hall to go down. I watch amused, and surprised he hasn't noticed me yet. Why is he so mad anyway? I look him up and down till finally I notice a huge bruise on his chin. I take a step back, and his head immediately shoots my direction. "Got you now..." He quickly turns the corner to be face to face with me. "YOUR DEA- oh... Took you long enough." He rolls his eyes. There is no point expecting any loving from him now that he's mad. "I'm guessing your day has been eventful?" I chuckle as he starts to growl. I love when he pouts like this. "Let me kill these fuckers and then we can go to the dorm..." He mutters racing down a hall. He sounds like he's very pissed, but I know he had fun. Of course he won't admit it, but I know he misses those guys. "Wait Bakugou.. No hard feelings right?" Mina squeals. Welp one down, three to go. Explosions echo in the halls as the others footsteps grow closer. "Holy shit he's on our tail!" Denki yells. They should know by now you can never hide from him, there's no point. All three of the boys bodies start flying, and smack right into the wall. "Oh shit..." They all whimper trying to get to their feet. Coming out of the smoke Bakugou grabs them all by the collar of their shirt, and yanks them in. The sounds of all sorts of punches, and whimpers come from within. "Okay we're sorry!" The entire Bakusquad pleads as he catches his breath. They all, including him, look beat up, and very exhausted. "You losers are only lucky Todoroki showed up when he did." He growls walking away towards me. He wraps his arm around my waist, and leads me to the dorm. "You know you love them.." I chuckle sitting on the bed. Sighing he looks into a mirror just to get even angrier. "Those fucking idiots ruined my face." He takes a seat next to me on the bed. "So how was your day with that pathetic green bean?" He asks now fully focused on me. I love when he actually cares. Just the littke things matter most to me. Even if it is just asking about my day. "It was pretty good, it was very relaxing." I smile as he wraps his arms around me resting in his head on my chest. "Please tell me I don't have to go another day without you. It felt like months since I've seen you..." He says into my chest as I pet his spikes. "Calm down.. You had a rough day huh?" He nods his head, and buries his face deeper. "Your so emotional..." I kiss his head lightly before lying us both down. "Goodnight baby." I whisper softly before closing my eyes.
