The Other Side

Todoroki's POV

Dark, cold, and the feeling of being completely hopeless. That's exactly what is happening right now. My body feels as stiff as a board, and it's so black you couldn't see your hand waving in front of your face. I feel as though I'm already dead. The sound of footsteps surround me, and I try to contain myself. I know fighting, and refusing will just make things harder on myself, I must keep calm. "Hey momma Toga we weren't able to gather any blood from that green haired boy. The Pros started coming after us, and we had to escape as quickly as possible." The imposter says sadly. Momma Toga.. I've heard the name Toga before actually. "That's okay I love it when they play hard to get." Her laugh is psychotic, and echoes through my ears. "So who is this piece of candy you brought to us?" She asks as there's an awkward silence. "This is Todoroki.. he wasn't the target, but it is the targets lover. I was hoping maybe we could do a trade..." The imposters instantly cuts off as another set of feet come towards me. The blindfold covering my eyes is ripped off my face, and I realize I'm completely surrounded. "Oh goodness that looks like it hurt." Togas eyes light up as she stares toward me scar. The man who ripped the blindfold off is in all black, and has some pretty nasty scars for himself. "ooo can we play with him a little? Please oh please Dabi?" She begs pulling out a knife and a huge thing that looks like some syringe. Her eyes start to grow wild like an animal about to attack it's prey. "Cool it toots he told us we couldn't touch him." A masked man says putting his hand in front of her. "ooo I wanna be in the splash zone!" His voice changes, and he completely contradicts himself. "Twice you're sending mixed emotions over here you goofy!" She giggles pushing his hand out of the way. "You know that's not his fault." The one in all black scowls as she hides her smile. "Well Dabi it sure does seem like you two have at least one thing in common!" She laughs again pointing to our scars. Sighing he turns back to me staring down at me. "So you finally woke up huh? Seems like you got yourself in a sticky situation." He has barley any emotion in his voice as he sighs again. "I guess we should go tell him the runt is finally awake." He says to the others before walking away. "Oh so you go to UA so you must know the kid named Deku right? If you make it out alright please send him lots of love from Toga." She says flashing her fangs. "What about me?" Twice pouts as she pats his head. "Oh you know you're definitely not my type." She teases as he groans. "You wish this was your type." His voice changes again as he starts to flex. "I just want a little taste..." She whispers as she comes toward me slowly with her knife. Inching her way closer I can feel the knife touching my arm. One little move, and it's going to be my blood on the floor. "Toga!" A voice booms as she starts to shrivel back. Her eyes are wide with fear as a man with a hand covering his face steps into the light. Angrily he starts to scratch his neck as he looks down at me. "This isn't the one I told you to get!" He says agitated. The imposter boy steps out, and the hand man instantly turns for an explanation. "The Pros started coming after us so we couldn't get Bakugou.. However, we did manage to get his lover. I was thinking we could trade a life for a life? He comes with us we let his little boyfriend free." The imposter mutters quietly clearly in fear for his life. The man continues to scratch his neck, and it seems like it's going to bleed. "Well this definitely changes plans, but at least we aren't empty handed. However, fail me again and this..." He pauses grabbing hold of a knife. It instantly disintegrates, and turns to ash while falling to the floor. "will be you? Get the picture?" He says menacingly. Holy shit did he just turn that completely to dust? What kind of quirk is this? "You should feel honored being this far into our hideout without being dead. Honestly I don't see why I shouldn't kill you now, and just wait for that little brat to get here. Even if I don't get him, killing a UA student would completely ruin heroes reputation. Eh that would be so typical though wouldn't it? Plus, I like the look of you.. a hostage also makes us gain more ground. The Pros will have to be careful because one little slip could cost your life. Yes, this is perfect there are so many opportunities now." The man starts to ramble off in his own thoughts. "None of you leave a single scratch on him got it! That includes you Toga! If anything is wrong with him the next time I come back all of you are dead." He warns glancing back at me. "I may be a villain, but at least I have manners. I am Tomura Shigaraki, do the pleasures to introduce yourself." He hisses raising a hand. There isn't an option in not talking, this man is a serious lunatic. "Shoto, Shoto Todoroki." I say as calmly as possible. "Did you say Todoroki? You mean you're related to the Number two hero? Oh wow this night keeps getting even better." He laughs while going away. The others still surround me as if I am an insect getting ready to be crushed. "Well, this isn't any fun!" Toga pouts as the others roll their eyes. "Hey Mom! You can probably ask him about that Deku kid!" One of the other younger villains says to her as her face lights up. "Oh that's right! I bet you know all about my little friend right? What's his favorite thing in the entire world?" She asks sitting on the ground. She's acting like we are friends. "I would say it would be All Might. He is the biggest All Might fan that I ever met in my life." I say casually trying not to trigger her. Out of all the villains besides Shigaraki she seems the most dangerous. "Oh wow okay... What does he like to do for fun?" She asks still looking as happy as ever. "Well, he likes to write in his notebook he has all kinds of people in it." I say smiling remembering all of his little doodles. The one with Bakugou is especially hilarious. "Do you think he would put me in it? Ohhh I hope so! That would make me so happy!" She starts to get excited, and bounces all over the place. "I doubt he does, you are a villain. Considering he's at a hero school I don't think he's interested." Dabi butts in, and her face turns cold. "You think I'm not good enough for him Dabi.. is that what you're saying?" Her eyes are starting to grow wild and the tension in the air is thick. "Hey isn't he the one who got Stain locked up?" Twice says, and I could physically see her sanity snap. Grabbing a knife in each hand she snaps her head toward me, fangs flashing at me like I'm the next meal. "Oh that's right... You did help capture him huh? You think it's funny to lock up people's boy friends? You think it's a joke to not be able to see him! Well what's it like tasting your own medicine prick. I wanna make you feel the same pain that I do.." her voice starts to crack as she lunges toward me. Before she reaches a wall of blue flames shoots between us. "Cool it Toga, Shigaraki isn't joking about having our heads. Plus, Stain isn't your boyfriend you just assume that he is." Dabi calms her down, and she quickly puts away her knives. "We're friends right? I'm gonna call you Todo!" She smiles, and acts like nothing ever happened. The others start to talk to each other, and I try to activate one of my quirks, nothing. Why aren't they working? Even in restraints they should be able to activate. "Trying to use your quirk? No use little buddy we have our own erasure quirk." Twice chuckles as I lay limp. There's nothing I can do except sit here, and wait. My only hope is that they find me before something bad actually does happen. "You know I'm starting to think you just lied about being our friend." Toga pouts again. This chick is absolutely crazy. "Of course he isn't your friend idiot. He is a hostage tied against his own free will. Why on Earth would he be our friend?" Dabi nods his head already fed up with all of this. While they all start to argue I wiggle my hand down to my inside pocket. We have to be careful Todoroki, one mess up and that could be your only chance of escaping. I continue to wiggle down till I find my phone. I have no idea what I'm pushing, but hopefully the person getting this understands I'm in danger. The villains quickly finish, and I try not to move my hand. "The Pros are already out searching for you. It's only a matter of time before the real games begin." Dabi smirks, and it's filled with pure hatred. Looking around I realize most of the villains are actually younger then i expected. Most of them look to be in highschool, or recently graduated. Why did they choose this path? What made them think that this was a good idea? Wait, what does he mean by real games? "It's obvious All Might is going to be coming, and your father. So we can just kill two birds with one stone. Without their top heroes the society will crumble in fear." Dabi adds, and my heart is pounding. I don't want anyone to come for me! Well, I do, but who knows what these villains plan to do! If I cause anyone to get injured, or worse cost them their life I will never forgive myself! "It's going to be happening any minute now, and Todoroki you are right in the splash zone." Toga adds smiling wildly.
