Bakugou's POV

Going back to school really sucks ass. All we do is the same shit over and over again in a never ending loop. I sit in class completely ignoring everything that is said, and start to daydream out the window. "Bakugou.. can I uh ask you a favor?" Class is over, and raccoon eyes and I are the only ones left. Of course she wants something, but at least this could make things less boring. "what do you want?" I sigh kicking my feet up on the desk. Todoroki already went to the dorm, and I'm sure most of the others have as well. She twiddles her thumbs nervously as her cheeks grow more pink. "Spit it out or you can forget about it." I growl getting impatient. Why ask for a damn favor and then not even mention it? "I.. I have a crush on Sero.. and I don't know how to tell him. You two are friends, and I was thinking maybe you and Todo could make things smoother. At least just see if he likes me back. He probably only sees me as a friend, but I would still like to know.." she says now staring into my eyes. Damn it I hate when she does this. She has done me to many favors for me to tell her no, and I know how much he means to her. Sero to her is like Todoroki to me, so can I really even refuse? " I guess if you're to chicken shit to do it yourself I will. Of course that is if Todoroki is in on it. Why didn't you ask Kirishima and Denki? They are a lot closer to him then we are." I mutter acting not to care. Honestly I've actually been wanting them to get together for a while. Yeah they are goofy, and when they are together trouble is bound to happen but that's what makes them perfect for each other. "That would have made it to obvious! Come on Baku pleasee.." she begs as I roll my eyes. "Damn it quit being annoying I already said yes okay?" A huge smile spreads across her face as she hugs me throwing her arms around my neck. "Thank you Bakugou!" She squeals before turning and leaving. Finally I get up out of my seat, and head over to the dorm. "what class B kid did you bully this time?" Todo chuckles as I enter the room. It's cute how he knows me so well. "Those extras aren't worth my time today." I mutter putting my head into his chest. His arms wrap around me engulfing me into his embrace. "We have been requested to go on a top secret mission, are you in?" He raises an eyebrow waiting to hear more. "We have to find out if Sero has a thing for Mina. She came to me wondering if we were up to the challenge. Of course I'm not going to do it without my good cop. So, are you in?" I ask as he pretends to fix an imaginary tie. "Todoroki is on the case!" He chuckles as I kiss him lightly. "Alright detective where do we begin?" He asks as we pull away. We have to play it incognito, or he will definitely figure it out. He may be as half dumb as a rock, no offense to Kirishima, but he catches on quickly. "Well I say we go over to his place, and "hang out". We play it cool for awhile, and then I'm going to pretend to have to do something. Your good at pulling heart strings so that's when you come in with the feels. Talk about gross lovey stuff, and make him talk without him realizing what's actually happening. Gather the info, hype Mina up to him, and then we got him right where we want him. It's full proof!" I explain imagining everything coming together in my head. "what if he has plans today?" He asks snapping me back to reality. The hell kind of question is that? "We make him free his schedule." I pull out my phone instantly going to his number. "hey tape dispenser. Your schedule is open now and your hanging out with me and Todoroki. We'll be there in 10, don't play no bull shit." I text him waiting for a reply. "I guess we are the love detectives.." todoroki laughs as I roll my eyes. "you're such a dork.." I mutter staring up at him. "Well Detective love bug let's hope your magic works." I kiss him again. It's been a long while since we've actually had fun, so might as well roll with it. "fine by me! Kiri and Denki are on a date anyway so it's just me." He replies. This couldn't have played out any better! "Detective hot stuff are you ready for your first case?" He smirks as I also pretend to adjust a fake tie. "When I'm with you I'm ready for anything." I laugh taking him by the hand. Walking down the hall we make it to Sero's. "should we knock..?" He whispers as I slam the door open. "we're here!" I yell as he jumps into the air. "asshole! You could have at least knocked! You scared the living hell out of me. You sound like police busting my door down.." he mutters sitting back down on the bed. He already has Zombies on the PS4, and two other controllers out for us to play. "I hope you're ready to get destroyed in this." He challenges me waving the other controller around. I look to Todoroki who seems completely confused. Oh come on you can't tell me he hasn't ever played Zombies. I mean he had all those consoles at his house. "oh your definitely going to eat those words!" I hop beside him as Todoroki takes a seat next to me. "Huh Todoroki I don't think we've actually hung out before." He smiles handing him the other controller. Politely smiling he takes it, and get ready for the first wave. "damn it! This game is bull shit!" I yell as I go down. They didn't even try reviving me! "You guys are assholes! You didn't even try to save me!" I pout as the game continues. "you literally left us to go to the other side of the map!" Sero laughs as the sixth wave pops up on the screen. "plus you really suck at the game.." Todoroki teases as Sero gives him a high five. "get him Todo! Crush his entire existence!" He jokes as they continue the game. Watching Todoroki he actually is pretty good at the game. I think he has the most kills right now too. "damn Todo I never expected you to be this good!" He says finally going down. Todoroki is the last one alive, and is still going strong. After a couple more waves he finally dies, and we go on to the next thing. "have you guys seen the thing? Someone made a SpongeBob remix to high hopes. It is literally the greatest thing that has happened to YouTube." He laughs clicking on the video. I think just the description made me lose a couple of brain cells. No wonder he's an idiot look at all the dumb shit he watches. Watching the entire video was loving hell, but it seemed Detective love bug was into it. "whoever made that is a true legend.." Todoroki laughs as the part where SpongeBob watches himself climb the building part comes on. "woah Todo you're actually into this? You are so cool! How did you end up with a loser like him?" He bursts into laughter as I growl. I know he is only kidding, he always loves giving me a hard time. "sorry I'm not into dumb shit." I say as he stands up. "be right back.. nature calls!" He goes into the bathroom, and we both turn to each other. "you two seem to be getting along." I smile as he lets out a deep breath. "we need to speed things up Hot stuff. Who knows when Denki will just pop out of nowhere." He whispers. It sounds so weird him calling me that, but it's also adorable. I've never seen him so laid back before. "alright Love bug time to go to phase two.." I whisper quickly as the door opens. "oh shit I gotta go real quick you two bastards have some quality time." I mutter getting up. I really hope Todo can do this. I know he gets awkward sometimes when he's around people he isn't comfortable with. "alright see ya mixed personalities." He laughs as I go out of the door. I'm going to look like a complete idiot for this, bit I push my ear up against the door waiting to hear every little word. Come on Todo.. you can do this. "I'm glad you came too! We've never really hung out before so this was a cool time." Sero says making the first move. "yeah I would have to agree this was pretty fun. I don't know why we never made it around to become actual friends." Todoroki says back. Damn it I really need to work on his social skills. "so has he given you a handful?" Sero asks. Yes, things are now going to get a bit more interesting. "it's actually been really great! If not for him I would have never opened up to so many people. He is lucky to have some good friends like you guys." He says back. That's it, you're getting a little better. "yeah we are the dream squad aren't we? I just feel lonely sometimes you know? We are always together, the bakusquad. Always saying we don't need no one else because we have each other. Which is easy for Kiri and Denki to say. They're quite literally dating, and even Bakugou has someone. I'm sure Mina is also bound to hook up with someone, but I'm not that recognized. Not a lot of people talk to me actually.. except for Mina." He sighs getting into his feels. I hate hearing him this sad, I wish I could burst through the door and tell him the truth. That yeah Mina does want to hook up with someone, and that someone being him. "I think Mina is a pretty amazing girl. Being able to stay strong through Bakugou's bullying, and even being the only girl in the group. She is one tough cookie, and even though she could totally act like a snob she is very kind. Not to mention one of the biggest goofballs in class. I think whoever can get a hold of her is one lucky man." He says back. I had no idea he paid that much attention to her. Not just that, but did he make that off the top of his head? "You're right, Mina is the most amazing girl I've ever laid eyes on, but I'm sure she is into someone else. What do I have to impress her with? Tape that shoots out of my elbows, when she could be with a guy like Fumikage? Maybe even a guy like Sato with at least a bit of strength. There's nothing special about me, and let's face it she can and will do better." He sighs. Damn it.. we have all the evidence we need, but she has to know. She has to know how he really feels. This is eating him alive inside, and now it's like watching a puppy in the rain for no reason. Todoroki and I both know they like each other now so we need to rest our case. I push open the door as they jump, and quickly look to Todo. "hey we have to go. It was nice hanging with you tape dispenser we should do it again." I wave as Todoroki slowly stands up. "It was nice talking to you, and maybe one day you will realize that girls don't focus on just your quirk. They like you for you, no matter how amazing they are." I wait for him out in the hall, and quickly drag him to where I believe Mina is. Banging on the door, the invisible chick quickly opens it. "uh what do you w-" "where's raccoon eyes?" I interrupt her as pink hair pops around the corner. "Oh it's okay girl I got this!" She smiles stepping out into the hall closing the door behind her. "your detectives have finished the mission." I pretend to salute making Todoroki chuckle under his breath. "the hell do you mean?" She laughs as I roll my eyes. "we went to see Sero earlier, and we gathered all the necessary info. Meaning we know he totally digs you. He's scared you don't like him that, and that he isn't enough for you. I think you should tell him the truth, and soon. It was pitiful listening to him talk about you thinking he never had a chance especially when we knew you already liked him. So, don't be an asshole and go tell him." I order as she straightens up. "yes sir!" She salutes back before giggling. "thank you guys so much! You guys are the best detectives anyone could ask for!" She waves rushing toward Sero's dorm. "I say this is a job well done.. and a job well done deserves some sort of reward.." I look back at Todo biting my bottom lip. I've had to keep my composure all day without barley even kissing him. I think we both deserve a little treat. I drag him back to our dorm already turning all the lights off besides one little lamp. "Congrats detective love bug you cracked the case, and now it's time for your reward.."
