I wake up with the biggest smile on my face. Wow, I'm so glad Bakugou is dumb. All that hypothermia shit was a lie, I really just wanted to cuddle. I roll over to face him, but quickly think otherwise. What if he wakes up and catches you staring? What will we do then? I slowly stretch, and get uncovered. I have no idea who won yesterday, but AI know we got a few flags. We got Deku's, we got mineta's, and we kept our own. Now if anyone got more then that I give them props. "Turn the fucking light off!" Bakugou yells shielding his eyes from the sun. "Bakugou I can't turn off the sun just get up." I sigh. He really needs to learn how to be a morning person. "Damn it.." he opens his eyes, and stares at me. "What're you looking at?" he yawns as he stretches. I chuckle a little, and choose an outfit to wear today. "Did we fucking win at least?" he asks as we meet up with the rest of our group. Everyone else was already at the food area eating breakfast. "Good morning Todo!" Momo calls out to me as I giver her a wave. Every morning she tells me good morning, its like routine. "Morning Bakugou." she chirps as he ignores her. She really is trying to be kind to him which I'm thankful for. I don't care what happened Momo is like my sister, and I will always be by her side. "So do we know who won yet?" I ask as I munch on a granola bar. They all nod their heads no, and I can't help but get anxious. I know this will be such a great opportunity for them so I hope we win. "Listen up! Yesterday was basically a game. Today the real challenge will start. We do have a winner from yesterday though...." we wait as the dramatic pause continues. I hate it when Mic does this like get on with it already. "DEATH DOMINATION!" he screams. The two girls look at each other and squeal in excitement as the rest of us shrug it off. Of course I know Fumikage is excited, but he isn't going to outwardly show it. "Good job Fumikage for defending it. I know it must have been difficult alone, but you pulled through." I pat him on the back, and give his shadow a little pet. The both of them did outstanding, it's insane to know how strong he actually is. "As for you girls I say hell yeah! You stole Deku's's right out from under his nose." I watch as they laugh to each other. Both of them together makes an unbelievable team. I don't know how they make it possible, but when their together there's nothing they can't do. However me and Bakugou are the power houses that carry the fight. "Fuck yes!" Bakugou yells, and lets out an explosion into the air. Aw, I'm glad he is in a good mood today. "Now Today the real battle begins. You will have to work together with every single member in your group. You have to make it to this special pond in the middle of the forest. Each person however has to face an obstacle. I'm not giving away any hints, but just know you're in for a treat. You will know when its an obstacle, and if you complete it you will get a colored stone. Gather all the different colored stones, and make it tithe land first. Whoever gets there first with all the stones wins got it? I will let you finish eating, and then meet over at the tree line." he points towards mine and Bakugous tent. I wonder what this obstacle is? I hope it's not those robots. Those things definitely aren't worth the money put into them. Everyone in the group finishes eating, and heads to where Aizawa is standing. I hope Kaminari doesn't try some shit like yesterday. Speaking of yesterday shit, my hands are so sore from punching all that shit. My knuckles feel broken, but'm not going to complain. It is my own dumb fault for reacting that way. "Icy Hot you're thinking to hard again." Bakugou mutters behind me. I shake my head, and focus on Aizawa. Its starting to crowd, and I'm guessing everyone is here. "Alright, I should also mention we set up cameras at each obstacle so we know if someone cheated, and had someone else get their stone. Let me make this clear again. Each person has to face their own obstacle, and get their own stone. Now get ready!" he yells as we all get in a running stance. None of us knows what these obstacles are, but we do know we are ready to face them. "Get set.." he trails off as we allstart anticipating his next words. We all need this whether it before the recommendation,or just to prove we are the best. "GO!" he yells as we all start trampling each other. Fumikage takes the air, Bakugou starts blasting every which way, Momo starts making a defense system, earphones jack starts hooking people with her quirk as I they to freeze everyone behind us. "Watch out there's a trench coming up!" Fumikage yells down to the rest of us. That's the best part about having someone in the air. The can see what's up ahead. "Bakugou blast across the trench, I got the girls!" I grab boththe girls by the hand tightly. "Girls don't let go!" I focus on the trench, and freeze us a sharp path across. "Hold on because it will be like ice skating." I drag them quickly across the ice. We make it quickly, and finally I let go of them. "Hurry the fuck up!" Bakugou yells back at us. "Wait... Is this-is this an obstacle?" Momo stops in her tracks. I stop with her, and watch. What the hell is up with her? Why would she stop if its an obstacle. "Guys, do you see this?" she hesitates as she walks towards some high rocks. "What the fuck is she doing!" Bakugou yells running towards her. I hold my arm up to stop him as we both watch impatiently. "There's something there that we aren't seeing. To us these are just rocks, bit what is she seeing?" I try to focus on the rocks more, but they're just rocks. I don't see why this is such an issue for her. "Guys I can't do it, do you know see it?" she asks again as she starts crying. What the hell? "Momo they're just rocks!" I yell out to her. She looks like she had just seen a ghost. "Rocks? Do you not see the giant clown with a stone in his hand? I can't do it, I'm going to have a panic attack." she cries looking away from it. Wait,did she ah clown? This makes sense because she is terrified of clowns, but there isn't one there. At least not to us anyway. "Guys! The obstacle is a illusion of our worst fears. What we are terrified most will come to life. We have to overcome our fears." I explain as everything begins to click in my mind. "Momo its not real! Thisia the test, you have to face your fear!" I yell trying to comfort her. No one can do this but her. "I'm too scared Todo why can't you see it?" she cries looking to me. I wish I could help her she is so pitiful. "Quit being a pussy and get the stone already!" Bakugou yells angrily. He starts kicking rocks around him as he grows more impatient. "You can do it!" earphones jack calls out to her. She smiles widely, and attempts to wipe the tears away. "This is just an illusion, its just rocks." she tries to convince herself as she inches forward. She flinches a few time before reachingher hand into a little crevice in the rocks. Pulling her band back quickly a bright pink stone shimmers in her hand. "Good job Momo now we gotta run!" I yell as we all start running forward. How will we know where the center of the forest is? "Fumikage fly further up so we know which way to go." I yell up to him. We continue to run, and finally catch up to more people. "FUCK THIS I CAN'T DO IT!" "ewwww gross no." everyone around us complains. I'm guessing this was their first challenge, which means we are actually ahead. Wait, where's Deku's team? "DAMN IT DEKU!" Bakugou yells racing forward. No Bakugou don't we might.... Fumikage flies down, and hits the ground. "Another obstacle, and it must be mine." he freezes in his tracks. Not a single muscle in his body moves. "BIRD MOVE! WE DO NOT HAVE TIME FOR THIS!" Bakugou screams trying to rush him forward. "Don't make any sudden moves." he whispers trying to walk slowly around something. What the hell is he scared of? I'm guessing it must be an animal, but what? "Shit, these aren't like the T-Rex they're smart..." he trails off looking all around. Damn it how the hell are you afraid of dinosaurs? They don't even exist anymore. "I'm not scared of dinosaurs though.." he zooms following something with his eyes. "Your scared to be eaten alive." Momo focuses on his movements. "And by the way you're moving I'm guessing they're Velociraptors. Which hunt in packs, and.... Shit." she shakes her head. We all know what they do, and how they hunt. "Fumikage dinosaurs don't exist anymore it's obvious that this isn't real." Earphones jack calls out to him. "They're protecting their egg..." he eyes dart in each direction. "They're to fast for me to track, and don't get me started on their talons." he looks down at his own feet. Of course his are normal with no talons. "Just get the fucking stone!" Bakugou growls as Deku's team runs out of sight. Damn it, they're getting away. Fumikage races through a thorn patch and grabs what looks to be an orange stone. "Great now go!" Bakugou and I run off ahead. We all need three more stones, only three more. "Come on guys we can still catch up!" I yell trying to encourage the others. I mean I'm doing this for them, I don't need this. Deku's team is now in sight. "Come on...." I freeze. Oh no, not right now. This can't be happening, no, not right now. Please no, we are so close. "Todo what's... Fuck not right now." I hear Momo's voice fade behind me. All I see is the illusion that seems so real. They have fears that could be easily avoided, but mine could happen at anytime. "What's it going to be?" a man with a gun laughs evilly. Come on Todorokis snap out of it. This is fake, its an illusion. "Fucking stop it!" I scream out. "Make your choice." he points the gun towards Momo, and Bakugous head. "You save the girl, or the boy. There must be one that you like more." he cooks the gun back, and takes off the safety. "Stop! What if I take their place!" I yell watching my friends get beat before my eyes. Their heads are forced down, and their hands are tied behind their backs. "Todo please save me!" Momo cries as Bakugou sits in silence. I can't lose either one of them. I need them both in my life. "Just take me!" I yell tears falling down my face. The man takes a step towards them. "If you're dead you won't suffer. I want this to live with you forever that you killed one of the people that means the moat to you." he spits on them both, and gives them both a hard kick to the ribs. "Choose or I'll just kill them both!" he yells angrily loosing his patients. How am I supposed to choose? "I choose...." I pause a moment. Todoroki pull yourself together this is just an illusion, a test. "Times up." the gun fires as blood spatters all over my face. My eyes widen in horror as Momo lies on the ground. It looks like the whole back of your head exploded. I'm froze, I have no clue what to do. I bring my hands up to my face as I stare at the blood that covers them. No... No this wasn't supposed to happen. I hear the gun cock back again as I stand in shock. My friends, both of them, killed because of me. I fall to my knees speechless. All of this is to real. The feeling of the blood, the noise of the gun, the voice of the man. "TODOROKI!" I hear someone yell. Is this real, or is this part of the illusion. "Todoroki snap out of it!" I feel someone shaking me from behind. This has to be real, has to be. I try to pull away backto reality, but my mind is hooked. "Come on Todo it's fake!" I hear Momo yell. Wait, Momo, that's right this is a test. I try to stand, but my legs turn into Jell-O. "Very funny, but I choose non." I start crawling to the man. I grab the last bullet from his pocket, and reality rushes to me. A bright blue stone glows in my hand. "Are you okay?" Fumikage asks staring me up and down. I look at myself, and man do I look rough. I look like a sweaty hot mess that's knees are bloody, and clothes are covered in dirt. "I'm fine." I take a deep breath and relax when I see Bakugou. "We need to get going." I try to run, but my knees lock up on me. "Just jump on my shadow, he can hold us both." Fumikage offers, and I gladly accept. That's my worse fear, getting the people I love killed. I don't know if I could live with myself after that. Knowing I had to choose who lived or died, that's horrifying. "You need to relax after this." Fumikage orders. I guess I do need to relax a bit. I feel like I just dragged myself out of hell. "I feel like I dragged myself out of hell." I snicker not really expecting a reply. "You look like it." he laughs, and I can't help but to laugh myself. "We need two more stones right?" I ask as he nods his head. So we only have earphone jack, and Bakugou. Oh lord I'm dying to see how Bakugou reacts. "Guys stop." earphone jack stops. We really ran out of luck on this competition. It seems like its back after back. She takes a deep breath, and closes her eyes. "I can't see..." she freezes moving her arms everywhere. Oh, I get it, she's terrified of the dark. If it wasn't a competition this would actually kind of be cute. "I'm not scared of the dark. "I'm scared of the things that live in it." she whispers as she crouches down in a ball. I watch as she slowly peeks her eyes out from underneath her arms. I know what she's experiencing. It may not be as gruesome as mine, but it terrifies her. "Come on, the quicker you get the stone the quicker you get to the light." I call out to her. Come on, come on we need to hurry out of here. We still have Bakugou, and who knows how he is going to react. "Yeah you got this!" Momo yells with a huge smile. You know if Momo went that way I think they might actually be a cute couple, but I don't think she is into that. Slowly sprawling out she runs into a bright colored bush coming back out with a sparkly yellow stone. "Isn't this just ironic." she laughs, and we continue on. One more, just one more, and then to the pond. "FUCK OFF!" Bakugou yells further down into the trees. Explosions are set off everywhere, and the rest of us try to keep a safe difference. I knew this one would be the most challenging. Of course Bakugou is terrified of something, but he doesn't coward down. He fights it, because that's all he knows how to do. "Stay the fuck back!" he growls. It looks like he's protecting something, or someone. He circles around this one area making sure nothing gets past him. "I will kill you all!" he yells setting off more explosions. Are we going to get close to him to tell him that this isn't real. We all helped each other through our fears, but no one can get close to him. "Bakugou stop!" I yell trying to get to him. God please snap out of it, you're the only one strong enough to do it. Come on, I know you can pull yourself together. Where is that fighting spirit that makes you stand out. "Haha you think you can make a fool of me. Well guess what weakness isn't in my vocabulary." he calms down, and grabs a red stone from the ground. "Game over." he flashes an evil grin as we race to where we think the center of the forest is. Fumikage and I soar up into the sky to peer out. "Go straight!" Fumikage yells down to the rest of them. We race straight, and finally make it to the pond. "Fuck.." I sigh as I see Deku's team already here. Wait, since when did I call him Deku? I guess Bakugou is rubbing off on me. "Damn it!" Bakugou growls angrily. I know the rest of the team is disappointed, but they aren't going to show it. I mean you can't win every time. "At least we got second." Momo smiles. She always finds a way to make things positive. "Fuck off, you aren't first then your last." Bakugou snaps his head back staring at her. Her smile falls, but quickly comes back. "That's not true..." she tries to argue against him. Oh Momo why did you have to do this? "Oh okay you're right, if you're second then you're the first loser." he spits. I guess he does have a point, but does he have to be so rude. Don't kill everyones vibe just because you're mad you lost to Deku. "Leave me the fuck alone." he mumbles walking away sitting on a stump by himself. I wish he could control that temper of his. That would be things so much smoother for everyone. We stand in silence as we wait for the other teams to get here. "Okay, this pond has no real significance, but as a reward you can swim if you like. Afterwards head back to the camp, and eat. I know your minds and bodies must be exhausted. Our winners today are the Plus Ultras!" he waves us off, and over half the people are already jumping into the water. I start running toward it myself as I catch Bakugou walking back into the forest. "Come on Todo it feels nice!" Momo yells to me cheerfully. You have a choice Todoroki. You can either swim, or go talk to him. It seems like everything always has to be choice, it can't be simple. "I think I'm good my knees are all cut up, I wouldn't want them to get infected." I lie. I don't care about my knees, they aren't even that bad. She gives me a little smile then goes back to playing. I run in the woods after Bakugou who is staring at the ground slumped over as he walks. "Hey explosion boy." I tease running up beside him. I don't know what it is, but when I'm with him alone something inside me becomes a lot more happier. He ignores me, and continues walking. I walk beside him in silence before trying again. "Today was a bit extreme, at least for me." I say nervously. I don't want to talk about my fear, but of he wants to know I won't keep it from him. I mean he knows a lot about me anyway. Plus, he means a lot to me. "Why can't you just leave me the Fuck alone?" he growls shoving me to the ground. I look up to see an angry Bakugou standing overtop of me. "What?" I ask confused. Why the fuck would he push me down for? "I didn't fucking stutter. Leave me the fuck alone." he growls. He looks like a wild animal about to attack. I jump to my feet angrier then I've been in a while. "Bakugou I don't want to have to beat your ass." I warn as my eyes grow dark. I'm nit scared of him, and I'm nit going to sit here and let him push me around. "Oh really now? Like you could mommas boy." his evil smirk spreads across my face. My blood starts to burn as my fists clench. "WHAT KIND OF FUCKING FRIEND ARE YOU!" I scream in anger, and pain. I stare into what looks like the eyes of a beast.
