At first sight

chapter 6

I was getting ready to leave to see Gerard and his band, I put on my usual mascara and headed out the door. When I got to the coffee shop I saw band equipment on the stage, I felt excited to see him perform, but I needed to find him, to apologise to him about this morning. But I couldn't find him, so I sat at a table nearest the stage, some guys got on stage and got their equipment ready, then Gerard climbed on stage, he looked depressed, he held on to the mic stand, the band immediately began playing. They were all really good, and Gerards voice was just breath taking, he sounded really good, he had a weird way of performing though, he would move his body in weird ways, and constantly bite the mic cord, but it was still cute, I giggled and clapped as they finished performing, Gerard looked at me he smiled and jumped off to pick me up and hug me we sat down.

"You came!!"

"of course I came, I wouldn't miss it for the world,"

"I thought you wouldn't come because what happened this morning,"

"Yeah,about that....I'm really sorry about that, it was uncalled for, I-"

"it's alright, I want you to meet the guys,"

Gerard motioned for them to come over and they did, they all looked quite good looking.

"This is Ray, Frank, and my brother Mikey, guys this is Rose,"

"you all did awesome,"

They smiled and said thank you, we all drank some coffee and talked, then the guys left but Gerard stayed. He grabbed my hand and slid his thumb across it, he smiled and told me that I have soft skin, I smiled and leaned in to kiss him, it was a gentle kiss. He grinned, and picked me up bridal style amd carried me out the coffee shop, and continued walking without putting me down,

"You are one weird guy, Gerard Way,"

He chuckled.

"Where are we going?"

"To the park,"

"in the middle of October? it's too cold-"

"it's never to cold for the park, "

I giggled, once we arrived the park, he sat me down on a swing and slightly pushed me, and swung next to me, we laughed like little kids,

"I bet I can jump off higher than you!" I screamed,

"haha, is that a challenge I hear?!"

"maybe!"

We laughed some more,

"okay, beautiful, on the count of three we both jump, 1....2...."

"3!!!"

We both jumped off the swings and rolled in the mulch, he some how landed on top of me, our eyes met again, I could stare into them for a thousand years, Gerard made the move and slowly kissed me,we broke the kiss and got up and got on the swings again, laughing like children.
