At first sight

Chapter 24

The next day, Gerard and I went out for lunch. Then we walked to this huge park, there was a gigantic water fountain that we sat on, the sound of the water splashing was peaceful.

Gerard: Rose, I uh....I need to ask you something...

Rose: okay.

Gerard: We've been together for quite sometime and....

People began surrounding us and started taking pictures and filmed us together, I was trying to ignore them.

Gerard: I don't know how to say this *blushes* I love you so fucking much.

He kneeled in front of me and took out a small black box out if his pocket, and opened it. A huge diamond ring was staring at me. My heart dropped, and I began to breathe heavy.

Gerard: I'm not good at things like this but I'm tryin to say is....marry me?

I wasn't expecting this at all. I put my hand over my mouth, tears began streaming down my face. I quickly nodded my head.

Rose: Yes!! I will marry you!!

He ran up to me and hugged and kissed me and slid the ring on my finger.

Gerard: I love you.

Rose: I love you.

Everyone started clapping and whistling.

By the time we got home, our engagement was already on the news. I checked the phone there were 11 missed calls!

Brook- 12:15 pm

Frank- 12:25 pm

Brook- 12: 27 pm

Jamie- 12: 35 pm

Bekky- 12: 48 pm

Ray- 1:00 pm

Mikey: 1:10 pm

Mikey: 1:15 pm

Mikey- 1:20 pm

Ray- 2: 10 pm

Bob- 2:30 pm

They must've heard about the engagement already. Me and Gerard called them back and told them everything, they were all excited and congratulating us non-stop.

Days go by, and me and the girls finish recording our album around the same time My Chem did, then Gerard and I recorded "Falling in love will kill you", and released it. Everyone went crazy over it. It was truly a beautiful song. I was actually teary eyed singing the song, and Gerard was shaky a bit too. I loved his verse of the song

"I'm okay...but I had to see the shrink again today...to tell her how my head is going crazy...but things get all mixed up inside my brain...so what is happening?

she said shut up, you fool, you're falling in love again"

After we finished recording the song we hugged each other tight and told each other I love you.. 

Both of our albums dropped on the same week, and they were both sky rocketing but My Chemical Romance was still on top, I was proud of the guys. They worked hard on what they're doing now. 

Today, Gerard and I took a break from the studio and decided to take a little walk, we walked passed a park, and my heart dropped as I witnessed what I had seen, I stopped walking, making Gerard stop since he was holding. I began to breathe heavy.

Gerard: What's wrong?

Rose: it's...T-T-Ty-Tyler....

Gerard: Tyler? Whose that, hunny?

Tyler was my abusive ex. He was staring me in the eye, he had an evil look in his eyes. Tyler has cold black hair, dark brown eyes, pale, tall, kinda buff, and tattoos covering his upper body, he began to walk towards us. I wanted to move but my feet wouldn't move.

Rose: My ex...

Gerard: The abusing bastard?

I nodded my head, then there was Tyler, standing in front of us. He spoke.

Tyler: Well well well....Rose Carmichael Way and Gerard Way...nice to meet you, Gerard, I am Tyler, Rose's ex.

Tyler extended his hand for a shake, Gee flashed a demented grin and shook his hand, his other hand, holding mine tight.

Tyler: So, Rose how have you been?

Rose: G-good. You?

Tyler: Awesome! I like what you've done with your hair. You're just so adorable.

Tyler started squeezing my cheeks together, it was starting to hurt.

Gerard: Don't touch her, she's fragile.

Tyler: *laughs* Fragile?! Rose, you let him treat you like a baby?

Gerard: No, I treat her like a lady..

Tyler: Hey, here's some advice, if she doesn't listen to you, smack her upside the head and show her who's boss *laughs*

Then that's when all hell broke loose, Gerard went at it and punched him dead in the face, they started fighting bringing attention to us, I screamed.

Rose: STOP!! STOP IT!!

I pulled Gerard off Tyler, Tyler immediately got up and smacked me, knocking me to the ground.

Tyler: That's for leaving me without saying a word!!!

Gerard sprinted at him and tackled him to the ground.

Gerard:Don't*punch*EVER*punch*TALK*punch*OR TALK*Punch*HER AGAIN, YOU PRICK!!!

At that he punched him once more and spat in his face, and picked me up and ran to his car and sat me in the front seat. He then got in the driver's seat and drove away, I held my face, it was stinging and the tears made it worse.

Gerard: He got what he deserved, I'm sorry you had to see that..how's your face?

Rose: it burns....

Gerard: THAT ASSHOLE!!!

I've never seen Gerard this pissed before, his pale skin got red and his eyes were evil, his hands were clutched to the steering wheel. We went home and Gee put an ice pack to my cheek.

Months later, me and the girls and My Chem have been touring all over the U.S., and over seas. It's been a blast. After every show, we crowd surf and then take pictures with fans and have meet and greets and what not.

Me and Gerard haven't seen each other in months but we talk on the phone every night until we fall asleep. Today is the last day for me and the girls to tour, after our tour, we packed up and got on our plane.

Jamie: So how are you and Gee?

Rose: Wonderful, he's an amazing guy he's the best. He still does sweet things for me every week, and he gives me the best massages--

Brook: That leads up to sex...

Rose: Brooklyn!!

Bekky: *laughing* Is he good in bed?

Rose: He's amazing!!

Brook: Frank is wild in bed,  I love it!

Jamie: Bloody hell, I'm sore the next day after fucking Mikey!

We all laugh our asses off and sleep for the rest of the flight home....
