At first sight

Chapter 16

It's been 6 months since the guys have been signed to Reprise records, they dropped their first album two weeks ago and it's going pretty good, they're already talking about touring in a year. Gerard rarely has time for me anymore so I stay home and clean, cook, write my music and strum on my guitar and take a nice shower or bath and go to sleep.

But tonight is Gerards free night off and he's taking me out to dinner. When he got home from visiting his parents, we got ready for our date. We went to a real fancy restaurant, the waiter took our orders and then we began talking.

Rose: How are the guys?

Gerard: Good..

Rose: Mikey? How has he been? He took your grandmother's death pretty hard.

Gerard: Yeah, -sighs- he's quieter now. He's pretty depressed. 

Rose: poor guy..I'm sorry about her death. -sighs-

Gerard: Let's change the subject. So, have you talked to Brooklyn?

Rose: Yes, she's getting her cousin's down here to meet me, hehe she says I need more friends that are girls.

Brooklyn is this girl I met at a grocery store, she noticed that I was wearing a My Chem tshirt and she was a fan so we talked and eventually became friends.  We'd been talking and hanging out since then, but she doesn't know that I date Gerard let alone know the guys. Gerard only knows about her because I told him about her.

Gerard: Just wait until she finds out we're a couple, she's going to beg you to let her meet me and the guys. -chuckles-

Rose: I have to tell her before the media beats me to it.

A few days later I met Brooklyn at  the mall, her long electric blue hair flowing down her back, swaying every step she takes, we walked around for a little bit, smoothies in our hands.

Rose: I uh...have to tell you something, but you have to keep calm okay?

Brooklyn: of course!

Rose: Well um...I dunno how to tell you this but um....I date Gerard Way.

She laughed hysterically.

Brooklyn: We all want to date the sass queen

Rose: No, I really date him. For quite some time actually.

I dug in my wallet and showed her a picture of me and gerard kissing at a concert he took me too a while ago. She looked at the picture, then at me, then back at the picture, then back at me she started breathing heavy.

Brooklyn: You date Gerard Way?! Omgomgomg, you know him? And possibly the whole band? -breathes heavy- okay um...omg, is he a good kisser, is he good in bed?

Rose: shhhh!! That is too much information, but Gerard is at my apartment, you can ask him questions if you want.

Brooklyn: How big is his-

Rose: Brooklyn!

Later that day, I decided to calm her down and to let her meet Gee, before I opened the door I told her to remain calm. Once I opened the door I told Brooklyn to sit in the living while I look for Gee, by the time she went to the living room, I heard a scream, I quickly ran and saw her hugged up on Frank, she tackled him on the floor cradling him.

Frank: Um, nice to meet you?

Brook: You smell so good.

Rose: oh yeah...he lives with us.

Gerard: what's with the screaming?

Brooklyn: -gasp-

Gerard: You must be Brooklyn. Hello.

Brooklyn: He knows my name...remain calm..

Brooklyn began feeling his face and hair I giggled. we all began to talk and joke around then Brooklyn went home.

Frank:she's hot.

Rose: Frankie!!

Frank: is she single? I wanna mingle hehe...

Gerard: *gasp, puts his hand on his hip* Frankie!!

Rose: You guys are weird.

We all sat on the couch and lit our cigarettes then we heard a big boom coming from outside, we ran to the balcony to see what happened, there was a big fire surrounding the apartment building across the street.

Rose: OH MY GOD!!! Wait...Brooklyn! She lives over there! OH MY GOD!!!

I ran out of the apartment as fast I could, the guys yelling after me and ran after me but I continued running....
