"Don't worry, I'm not trying to make a move on you, I'm just trying to warm you up a bit," he assured me. He looked at his watch, and sighed, it sounded like a disappointed sigh or a sad sigh. "it's 3:45, we should get some sleep" We said our goodnights to eachother and went to sleep.

Gerard's Pov

I didn't really sleep much. I stayed up most of the night, I couldn't sleep. I lit a cigarette and took a puff,  I got up and got me some coffee, and went out to the balcony for awhile. I wasn't used to anyone hanging out here with anyone other than my brother and friends when they come.over. Rose made my night. I haven't laughed so much in one night. She's a really sweet girl, and she's drop dead gorgeous. Her big brown eyes, and her long hair, and perfect pink lips, mesmerized me.

I put out my cigarette and went to the bedroom to check on Rose, she was sound asleep, she looked peaceful, I stood there in the doorway. I could hear her moaning and groaning in her sleep, I got a bit worried. They got louder, and she started moving around, then she began crying and kicking and punching the air, I quickly went over to her to wake her up, she finally woke up, she was hyperventilating, I held her in my arms and calmed her down, whispering calming words and rubbing her back.

"Are you okay, what was all that about?"

She took deep breaths and looked.into space, she snapped back into reality. "it was a nightmare...a nightmare..."

I continued rubbing her back.

She wiped a tear away from her face, she grabbed my hand that was resting on my leg.

"I....I don't....-sighs- Gerard... "

"yes?"

"Walk home with me?"

"right now?"

"please...."

I looked at her big brown eyes, they were getting watery, she wanted to tell me something but she couldn't. I walked her home, she eventually invited me in, she didn't have any furniture yet, except for bar stools that screwed to the floor in front of the bar in her kitchen. She made coffee, and turned on the stove. Breakfast. She was making breakfast. The sun was coming up, I went out to her balcony, she was also on the tenth floor. I went to the kitchen and sat on the bar stool amd watched her flip the pancakes, she finally makes our plates, and coffee, we ate together. I broke the silence.

"so....why did you move here?"

She stopped chewing for a minute, and just stared at her plate, she swallowed her food.

"um...to start my life over."

"start over? why?"

"it's a long story."

"I have time."

She put our empty plates in the sink.

"I'd rather not say.right now,"

I nodded. I was wondering what was going on in that beautiful head of hers. I was wondering if I was in her mind somewhere. The more I looked at her, the more feelings I felt, even though we met, last night, I think I love her....love at first sight...the thought of that made me smile to myself.

"Why are you smiling?" she smiled too.

"why are YOU smiling?"

"Because you are."

I chuckled, she giggled.

"Hey...can I take you out for dinner tonight?" I asked, my hands got clammy. She stared at the floor for a few minutes, shit, I messed up!!

She looked up at me, and grinned.

"Sure,"

We smiled. She gave me her number, and lit a cigarette, I did the same. We watched the sun come up while we were leaning on the railing.
