At first sight

Chapter 11

Rose's pov

The next morning I woke up to Gerard jumping on the bed screaming "IT'S CHRISTMAS!!" over and over again, he ran around the hall screaming " EVERYONE WAKE YOUR MOTHERFUCKING ASSES UP, IT'S CHRISTMAS MORNING!!" Everyone woke up, Mikey threw boxers at Gerard and said "don't get your panties in a bunch, we know what day it is" I giggled, his parents were heading downstairs holding hands, meanwhile, me, Gerard, and Mikey rushed after them like little kids, the Christmas tree was filled with gifts. I hope everyone likes the gifts I got them.

After gift opening we ate breakfast together and thanked each other for the gifts. I bought Mikey a bass guitar sense I overheard him talkin to gee about his old one not working so good anymore, he freaked when he opened my gift, he basically tackled me into a hug.  I got Gerard an art kit with the paint, and brush and the stand to hold up the border and art paper and fresh copies of some comics, and I got his mother Loubiton heels and I got his father a rolex watch. I love the gifts that everyone bought me, but my favorite one is the Heart shapped diamond ring, it's a promise ring that gee got me. I immediately slid it on my finger. I could tell it was going to be a good day.

After breakfast, Mikey and Gerard went outside to play in the snow, meanwhile, Donna and I did the dishes.

Donna: you must be doing something right, Rose.

Rose: oh? why is that?

Donna: Because I've never seen Gerard so happy before. He was always so down and depressed. Ever since you two got together he talks about you non-stop, and he's happy all over again. Whatever it is, keep doing it, sweety.

Rose: What exactly does he say about me?

Donna: That you're beautiful, funny, and interesting, and that you're a smart young woman, which is all so true. He even says that you have self respect, most women dont have that anymore, I'm glad that you do.

I smiled non-stop. Gerard and Mikey ran in the kitchen, laughing and yelling.

Mikey: "Why would you put snow down my pants you bastard?"

Gerard: Because you were being rude, you called me a bitch!

Mikey: Yeah, a sexy bitch!

Gerard:That's incest!

Mikey; How?!

Gerard: Because you were flirting with me!

Mikey slightly pushed Gee, Gee hugged me from behind, making me shiver, he still has on his coat that was covered in snow, his cold lips kisses my cheek.

We all went to the living room and watched Christmas cartoons, and sat by the fire telling each other child hood memories, and laughing.

Gerards pov

Rose gets up and excuses herself and heads upstairs. Minutes later she hadn't came down, so I excused myself to check up on her, as I walk pass the bathroom I could hear the shower running, but I could also hear a beautiful voice singing.

I smiled as I listened to her beautiful voice singing "Love is a battlefield" by Pat Benatar. As the shower went off I hurried back downstairs. Her melodic voice runs through my head, I sit with family and continue enjoying them.
