Chapter 8

The next morning I woke up to a.peaceful, sleeping Gerard. He looked so cute while he was asleep. I smiled to myself and lightly kissed his forehead, his arm was resting on my waist, I gently lifted his arm and slid out of bed, he let out a light groan, I giggled and exited the room. Mikey meeting me in the hallway. We smirked at each other.

Rose: Morning.

Mikey: Good morning, is he still sleep?

Rose: Yeah.

Mikey: okay, let's go to my room, but you have to be quiet, he can't know about this....

I nodded and tip toed behind Mikey into his bedroom, closing the door behind us.

Twenty minutes later...

Gerards pov

I woke up to the sun beaming in my face, noticing that Rose is gone. I sit up and rub my eyes, and comb my hair with my fingers, and went to the bathroom. After taking care of my business in the bathroom I decide to search for Rose.

I looked downstairs, but no one was down there, I looked in the basement, not in there. I asked my parents when they would come out their room to go to the bathroom, but they haven't seen her. Surely, she hasn't gone too far. I begin to walk past Mikeys room, but I.paused as I heard two voices in there, it was him and what to sound like Rose, I stood next to the door and eavesdropped.

Rose: wait, wait...what if he catches up, it'll just ruin everything, I mean-

Mikey: stop worrying he won't catch us, I promise.

Rose: what makes you so sure?

Mikey: Because I'm sneaky....

Rose: Alright, whatever, just hurry and wrap it up so we can get this over with. I only came in here because you begged me after Gerard got in his shower last night.

I felt an emotion of anger and disappointment and sadness come over me. I wanted to walk right in there and just burst out my feelings and rant, but I didn't. Instead I went back to our room, and got my sketchbook and doodled while I silently cried to myself. Minutes later, I could hear Mikeys door open and close, I peeked my head out and saw them creeping downstairs together. I sighed and closed the door, and cried harder and harder. My heart felt like I'd been stabbed a hundred times,like my heart was taken away and smashed to the ground. I couldn't believe Rose was doing this with MY brother,.and I couldn't believe that he would do such a thing either.

Because I'm sneaky....

Alright, whatever, just hurry and wrap it up so we can get this over with. I only came in here because you begged me after Gerard got in his shower last night.

Those sentences kept replaying in my head as I cried. I've never fell.hard for a girl as hard as I did for Rose. She means the world to me and I lost her to my brother, who obviously had no problem with it.

I had to confront them about it, so I wiped my tears and headed downstairs and found them in the kitchen drinking coffee, and laughing as they tell each other inside jokes. I flinced seeing them alone in the kitchen, they finally notice me, whilst I was still standing in the entrance of the kitchen.

Rose: Good morning,hunny.

Gerard: Don't good morning hunny me.

Mikey: someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning.

Gerard: shut up..

Rose: what is your problem??

Gerard: Don't act so innocent now. I know how you are now. I know your secret with Mikey. I can't believe you two. I love you both and youre just gonna stab me in the back!!! Sneaking in his bedroom behind my back! And you begged her too, Mikey!

Mikey: Listen, Ro-

Gerard: save your sorry excuses. I'm sure ive heard them all.

Roses pov

As walks out of the kitchen, I bite my lip feeling bad about what I'd done, but I couldn't help it. I had to impress Mikey some way! I put my mugg on the counter and chased after Gerard, but he slammed the door in my face.
