Rap Monster's Point of View
They kept me isolated to my room and that place with the doctor. I wasn't allowed to go back to see Tae in the visit area. Even worse, a police officer stood outside my door after they took me to the doctor room. Maybe it was because of my reaction to the stuff in the syringe.
A nurse came in and fed me. I couldn't feed myself because of the straitjacket, and it was really starting to tick me off. I hadn't spoken since the doctor put the clear stuff into me. So it was a big surprise when my words came out as a rap.
(A/N: Words in italics are rapping. Don't expect me to write it in rap format, I am incapable of such things)
"Come on, please take this off. I am tired of being fed stuff, it makes me feel like I'm two years old. I can prove it if you won't believe what you're told," I complained at the poor nurse. It really wasn't her fault, I was just frustrated and she was the only one to take it out on.
The nurse's eyes widened and she left the room, leaving the food on the edge of my bed. I looked at it longingly for a few seconds before turning and burying my face in my pillow and screaming my frustration into it. When I was done, I sighed and turned back over. I sat up and dangled my feet over the edge of the bed, being careful to not knock the plate off.
The nurse came back with a satisfied smile and continued feeding me. I wondered where she had gone. I also wondered when that J-Hope guy was coming back to get me out.
The nurse left again after feeding me. I sighed and lay back on the bed, staring out the window upside down. I wished I could go run around outside. It probably felt nice to have the wind and sun on your face instead of white lights and air conditioning.
I jerked upwards, having fallen asleep, when the door opened and the officer came in and grabbed my arm. He pulled me harshly off the bed and I almost fell, stumbling over my own feet as I tried desperately to not fall over. I saved myself and let the officer pull me along. As long as he wasn't taking me back to the doctor's room, I didn't care where he would take me.
He shoved me into the visiting area and I immediately searched for Tae. I found him and a large smile broke onto my face.
"Rapmon, you're back," Tae yelled as he stared at me in excitement. He would be hugging me if he wasn't in a straitjacket right now. I could see it in his eyes.
I nodded excitedly and sat down. "The info network told me they saw you being taken to the doctor's room. They also say they heard you rapping when the nurse fed you today. Did you start rapping too," he asked.
I nodded. But what did he mean by asking if I started rapping too? "Tae, what do you mean 'too'? There are others who rap without a clue? Tell me why I can't stop, it's like my thoughts went to the never-stop-rap-shop," I said, well rapped really.
"Wow, you are rapping. Okay well, this is confidential so don't tell anyone else. Anyways, the workers in this section take patients into the doctor's room and he puts this clear liquid into them. Some of them seizure out and end up dying. The rest start rapping instead of talking and can't stop until they see something or someone they are really attached to. At least, that's what we think has to happen to get them to stop. Only one person has managed to stop, and that was after seeing his grandma when she came to get him out. He was really close to her, so that's why we are pretty sure that's what has to happen to get them to stop rapping. The others who couldn't stop ended up being electrocuted because they were, and I quote the doctor exactly, "bad influences" on the other patients," he snorted, shaking his head before continuing, "as if we can get any worse."
That made a lot of sense. Then, the fear set in. It would probably take Jimin to get me to stop, and he wasn't here. So were they going to electrocute me? I felt my heartbeat pick up and my straitjacket was suddenly really hot.
"You know, you are pretty good at rapping. You got any actual songs in your head, not just words that would be spoken like normal if you didn't have crazy juice in you," Tae asked curiously. He tilted his head to the side and I nodded hesitantly. "Really? Can I hear, please please please," he begged. He was on his knees, looking at me with bigger puppy dog eyes than Jimin had. I sighed and took a few seconds to remember the lyrics to my favorite part of my song Joke.
(A/N: These are the english lyrics to this section. Don't sue me please I'm poor. Credits to Rap Monster for the lyrics)
"Okay here it goes. Hope you like it Tae.
Got six bullets in my tongue
Six snakes in my lung
Six shots got me feeling 2pac, okay, these are A$AP's lyrics
Like a couple with good conjugal harmony, there's nothing big
Your heaven, just like a woman, you won't see face to face
I'm tick dock a duster, bak bak dusting, my tongue like water; you'll see it
Yeah this is meaningless word play, you know I got a mufuckin' beat
Got a mufuckin' rhyme
Got a mufuckin' flow, got a mufuckin' style
Got a mufuckin' wine, got a mufuckin' shine
These are all how many words?
My mufuckin' lines
Bitch I'm the one, I'm so mufuckin' prime
You're so countrified you're the village leader, the style of old geezers who like jokbal
I stopped, finished with my favorite part, and tried to catch my breath. Tae stared at me for a second and I was afraid he hasn't liked it. Then he started clapping and cheering.
"Wow, that was amazing. You can actually rap, you definitely make all the others who ended up like you sound like amateur trash. I wish I could rap like you. I mostly sing and dance, my rapping is so bad," he said. I nodded and smiled at him, my chest still working to get back all the lost air from rapping without stopping for such a long time. I was getting out of practice. Before I came here, I could have done that easily.
Before I could say thanks to Tae, the officer came back and pulled me up roughly. I sent a sad glance back to Tae and waved goodbye mentally, letting myself be dragged along without saying a word. If I said something, he would probably hurt me.
He shoved me into my room and I lay calmly on my bed. I wanted J-Hope to come back and take me away soon. I was scared of the officer and the doctor. They were working together to get rid of me. I just knew it. Tae seemed fine, but I wondered if he would have to stay behind if J-Hope managed to get me out. I hoped he would be okay without me, and I hoped J-Hope would find a way to get him out as well. Even if it wasn't at the same time as me.
I closed my eyes and went to sleep, waiting for my savior to come back and get me out of this death trap.
(A/N: So many of these. Anyways, I am not entirely sure those were the entirely correct lyrics, I just went off the subtitles on the video I am basing this story off of. Hope you liked it anyways)
