Jooheon's Point of View

Kihyun's door swung open. Then, all the doors dissipated, going up in a cloud of smoke and dissolving into the air. I walked down the hallway, noticing the stunned looks I saw on the others faces. Their doors were probably opening to their eyes.

They stepped out in pairs, I.M and Shownu, Hyungwon and Kihyun, Wonho and Minhyuk. I walked with them forming a kind of column around me, leading them towards the end of the hall. When we were all in the hall, walking together, the darkness went away completely. We walked through the place that had been dark so recently, a bright light growing brighter the farther we walked until I couldn't see anything except the light.

When the blinding light died down, we were in a field, looking at an abandoned house. It looked old, but still in pretty good condition considering it's abandonment. Vines crawled up the brown walls and the windows were dirty some years of neglect. We were wearing old, faded clothes. I didn't remember changing at all.

We walked towards the small, two-story house and entered, curious as to what it was like. There was a layer of dust covering everything, even the glass of some picture frames scattered around the house.

I dusted a few off. The first few pictures were of a group of seven kids, smiling. They got older and older with every picture I dusted off, until I realized that the kids in the pictures were us. Our X Clan was the group in the pictures.

"Guys," I yelled out. I had to get the attention of the others. They gathered around with inquisitive looks on their faces. I showed the the picture frame. "We used to live here. This is our home." Suddenly, the memories came rushing back. They filled in the blank space before everything with the hospital. Tears fell down my face as I remembered being dragged away for some experiment, making the people promise to let us come back after the experiment was over when I realized we weren't getting out of it.

The others seemed to have remembered as well, because they started crying as well. We hugged each other tightly, wanting to never let go of each other now that we knew what happened.

"Thank you Jooheon. You made them promise to bring us back," Hyungwon whispered. He had been close to me when they took us. I nodded.

"I had to make sure we would get back to our home," I murmured.

After we all stopped crying, we explored the house and visited all the places we remembered. We were ready to live our lives as we had before.

Well, maybe a bit differently now that we had gone through the experiment and learned so much about ourselves.
