Here we go. I'm gonna do it.

After endless terrible bribery from Ned, as well as wise words and good reasons from him, I finally put myself together, and was about to ask MJ out.

After our last class, I walked towards MJ's locker to wait for her. Not long after, she was already walking towards me. She was used to Ned and I waiting by her locker after our last class, but since it was just me, she held a confused expression. Ned was sitting on a bench outside, waiting for me to tell him the good news.

As soon as she reached me, she crossed her arms against her chest.

"Where's Ned?" I shrugged.

"He's just outside and...can I ask you something?" I asked, gulping nervously. She noďded, not saying a word, then I continued.

"MJ, is it okay if youwouldgooutwithme?" I spoke the 'going out' part way too fast, that even I couldn't understand what I said.

"Come again?"

MJ's POV

I knew what he just asked. And I can't believe it. I thought I misheard him, until he said it again.

"Will you go out with me?" He said, a little slower this time. My stomach felt weird.

Please tell me these aren't butterflies in my stomach...

"Well?" He asked, his face bright. He was hopeful that I'd say yes? Is he really doing this? Does he actually like me?

Yes.

Yes.

A million times yes.

Why don't you just answer him yourself?

"Yeah, sure. That sounds fun." I tried not to just tackle him in a hug or cheer like there's no tomorrow.

"Great! Uh, how about 5:30 tomorrow, I'll pick you up from your house?" He asked, and I bit my lip to try and stop the goofy grin on my face.

"Sounds good."

"Wear something simple, yet elegant." I nodded, but I couldn't hold back the grin anymore. He smiled back, waved, then walked towards the door going outside.

I'm going on a date with Peter Parker.

I'm trying not to jump up and down right now.

Holy shiz, please tell me I'm not dreaming.

Wait, I don't even dream of Peter.

Okay, maybe sometimes I do.

I snapped out of it when I realized I was still in front of my locker. I fixed my things, went outside the school, then saw Peter and Ned cheering for something.

"Congrats, man! I told you she'd say yes!" Ned high-fived Peter, who was grinning like an idiot.

They're talking about me. I tried not to look like this was the best thing that happened in my life, and approached them casually, like I normally do.

"Hey guys." I couldn't help but greet them more cheerfully than I usually do. I just can't help it.

"Hi, MJ." Ned was smirking at me, and Peter nudged him in the shoulder.

"So are we going at my place or yours today?" I asked them, and Ned shrugged.

"Peter's today, I guess. It's our best spot anyway, right?" He said, and Peter and I nodded.

~~~
What am I going to wear? I've never done this before, and I am really nervous right now.
It was only 4:00 pm right now, but I made sure to be ready earlier than the time he'd pick me up. Suddenly, my mom went inside my room, looking at what I was doing.
"Are you going on a date?" She asked, a smile starting to form in her face. I nodded with a grin on my face.
"Oh my gosh! This is huge! I'm so happy, sweetie!" She pulled me into a tight hug, causing me to have a hard time in breathing.
"Okay, mom, but I might not make it if you keep choking me. No offense." She quickly let go and said sorry, then asked me something.
"Do you need help in picking out clothes?" I nodded eagerly, taking a look at my room which was filled with messy piles of clothes.
"This is gonna take a while, MJ."
~~~

After 30 minutes of searching for decent clothes, we finally found something that suited me. It was a sinple plain blue dress, which reached right below my knees, and it had short sleeves. This was probably one of the few times I've ever worn a dress, aside from that time at Liz's party and Homecoming. This time, though, I felt proud to be wearing a dress. Other times, I only wore it cause it was the appropriate clothing to wear, but this time, I wanted to wear it. I hope Peter likes it.

I was also wearing silver high-heels, which surprisingly suited me, and matched quite well with the dress. My mom insisted on putting just a little bit of make-up, and when she was done with my face, she fixed my hair. All she did was let my curly hair flow down naturally in my back. Once I was all set up, it was already 5:15. Still have a few minutes left before he gets here.

After all the waiting, my mom and I squealed when we heard a knock on the door. I know, it's really odd that I'm squealing over a guy, but lots of things changed about me.

My mom opened the door, and Peter was looking handsome as ever. Actually, there wasn't even a time that he wasn't handsome but...you get the point.

He shook my mother's hand with a smile, then suddenly, my dad walked towards the door, giving him an intimidating look, which got me worried. Please don't scare him away.

"So you're the one who asked out my little girl? One of her best friends who comes here often with the other guy?" He asked Peter, and he nodded with a kind, and a not very scared look on his face.

"Yes, sir. My name's Peter Parker, and I'm here to pick up MJ." I walked towards him, and his mouth looked like it was about to drop open in shock. I'm not even that pretty.

"Hey, MJ."

"Hi."

"Just make sure to take good care of her, alright? And don't try to hurt her." My dad said with a worried look on his face, and Peter's face suddenly turned serious.

"I would never do that to her, sir. I'll take good care of her." He said with sincerity, which made my cheeks flush. Dang it, why do I keep blushing these days?

"Okay. Be sure to bring her home, alright? You seem like a good kid, but I don't really want any little MJs and Peters running around the house right now." My dad and Peter laughed with each other, and Peter nodded his head.

"I'll wait for the right time for that, sir."

"Alright, just go now. Enjoy yourselves!" Peter took my hand, and led me out the door.

This was going to be a good night.

A/N: The whole 'first date' scene will be in the next chapter. I needed to make this chapter happen first, before actually putting in their date night. And I am still really patiently waiting for the Homecoming sequel, since chances are we'll be able to see more Pichelle there. Hopefully. Anyway, don't be a quiet reader, unless you really want to be quiet, and thanks for reading!
