*SLIGHT INFINITY WAR SPOILERS AHEAD*

Narrator's POV

Everyone who survived all thought that hope was lost for the people who turned to dust.

So did the remaining heroes.

But then, all of a sudden, people started fading back into the world.

It's been a whole month since the day that half the universe ceased to exist, and everyone had to go back to their normal lives, even though they were never the same anymore.

But they all came back.

All except Loki and Heimdall.

When the remaining heroes were finally giving up, more heroes came to help.

Captain Marvel, Hawkeye, Ant-Man, and even the Wasp came to help.

They helped the Avengers fight off Thanos, who was less powerful without the gauntlet with him, although he was still very hard to beat.

Unfortunately, not all of the heroes had survived.

Captain America, who was trying to beat Thanos on a one-on-one fight, was killed.

Tony Stark, who tried to save the Captain, had also unfortunately died.

They won the battle against Thanos, finally being able to kill him, and they collected the Infinity Stones, and destroyed the Soul Stone, releasing everyone who turned to dust, back into the real world. They made sure to hide the stones far away from Earth, so no one else could steal them and do something bad again.

Gamora was fortunately saved, since she was given as a sacrifice to get the Soul Stone, so she got stuck inside the stone, until it got destroyed.

For Loki and Heimdall's case, they were both unfortunately not stuck in the stone, so they remained dead.

When Peter Parker was set free, and he found out that Tony Stark had died, he was devastated.

He lost his own father at a young age, and he also lost the two father figures he had. His Uncle Ben and Mr. Stark.

He sobbed as he found out, and Mantis let him cry into her chest, hugging him tightly. The two had become friends after that, who both mourned at their loss.

Mantis lost her family at a young age, so she also knew how Peter felt, and comforted the poor boy.

Everyone went back to their normal lives, knowing fully well that the battle with Thanos was the last one they'd have. And it was.

Things were back to normal, especially with everyone who turned to dust being back to life.

It was a miracle for all of them, but of course, the loss of the heroes still affected some people badly.

Pepper lost her husband, and she was going to have to raise their child on her own. Peter came to her and apologized, but Pepper accepted Tony's fate. At least, he died trying to save someone, and being a hero.

Bucky had lost his best friend again, and this time, it was for good. He would always remember his friend who was always there for him.

Thor had lost a lot. His parents died, his best friend, Heimdall had died, and his own brother had died. No matter how much bad things Loki has done, Thor still loved his brother.

Peter came back to his house, and as Aunt May opened the door, she cried and hugged Peter immediately.

"I'm so glad you're okay! I thought you were dead! I thought I had lost you..." May was sobbing really hard, and she said the last sentence quietly. Peter hugged back and sobbed as well, remembering who he had just lost.

"Aunt May, Mr. Stark is dead." She pulled away from him, a shocked look on her face. She didn't like Tony at first, but as time passed, she realized that Peter looked up to Tony like a father. Tony's death had also made May upset.

"My god...I'm sorry." She whispered, and Peter sobbed even more, hugging her again. He needed a break from everything, and him being Spider-Man brought too many memories to him, that he decided to stop being the hero for a while.

"Sweetie, are you going to be able to go to school? I think you need to rest first." Peter pulled away and nodded, wiping away his tears, and walked to his room. May looked at him worriedly, hoping that he would get better soon. Not too soon, but not too long either. She didn't want him to forget Tony, but she wanted him to move on. He'd always be in everyone's memories, whether as Tony Stark, or as Iron Man. He'd never be forgotten.

Steve Rogers or Captain America would never be forgotten.

Loki would never be forgotten.

Heimdall would never be forgotten.

The one who caused all of it, Thanos, would never be forgotten.

And MJ was shocked as she saw Peter walking alone in school, a few days later.

He was alive.

A/N: Just so you guys don't lose hope in this story, I decided to update today. These events didn't actually happen in Infinity War, but it's what I hope will happen in Avengers 4, which takes place after Infinity War, and I hope that what happens here can happen or be similar with what happened here, except of course the part of Tony and Steve's deaths, but we'll never know for sure until Avengers 4 comes out next year. Thanks for reading...
