School was a disaster. Luna was positive she failed the test and two pop quizzes she had taken. It hadn't helped that she had fallen asleep midway through the civics test.

She had never fallen asleep during class before, no matter what subject or what was going on. Luna was one of those people that could just soak up information in class and didn't need to study half the time. She was almost always interested in whatever subject was being taught and the talent was ridiculously handy when she occasionally changed schools midyear.

But said talent was useless if she didn't get any sleep, which Luna quickly found out. All she could think about when she began to get her mind to think was what she had to do after school and who she was meeting up with.

Needless to say, even if she had gotten a good night's sleep, it was unlikely she would have been able to concentrate on school anyway.

To say Luna was relieved when the bell finally rang at the end of the day would have been an understatement. She didn't know how much longer she could stay in the drabby school hallways without beginning to sleep walk.

Luna was relieved when she walked outside to the cold wind and smiled as the cold air began to make her more alert. She then began her self assigned errands.

First she stopped by the nearest store that she figured she could get some cheap clothes. She would have preferred to get better made and new clothes, but Luna knew that she didn't have the money or time to go on a shopping spree, not to mention be tempted into buying a costume for Halloween which was coming up.

Which reminded her that she still needed to get the materials for her costume and she had less than a week to make it. She'd have to get the materials tomorrow and then start on it. Luna always made her Halloween costumes herself and she knew that if she wanted to find an inexpensive way to get a good costume, not one of those that vaguely looked like the actual outfits, was to make it. She had learned that from an early age.

However, she had more pressing matters on her mind than her Halloween costume or else she would had gotten the materials right then and there.

On her way back to the ally, admits the bags of clothes and food, Luna had the Arabic paragraph that she had to translate out and was attempting to get her mind to translate it. She knew it was practically useless because she had been having enough of a hard time trying to get herself to read and process english currently.

Luna also knew that she had to force herself through it. She would prefer to keep a perfect grade in all of her classes, and that meant that even if she could afford to skip a homework assignment, she would not allow herself to.

Luna really hated her work ethic sometimes.

When she made it to the alley, her hands felt frozen, but she ignored it for the time being. Luna glanced around trying to see if Anakin, Obi-Wan, or Padmé was around before moving to the back of the alley near where the kittens were. Before she sat down, she literally jumped as someone landed behind her.

"Master Kenobi," Luna said as she easily calmed herself. Usually people didn't get that kind of reaction out of her, she was hard to scare.

Then again, people didn't jump off the roofs of buildings and land like cats.

"I apologize for startling you," Obi-Wan said. Luna noticed how ridiculously weird he looked wearing Earthan cloths.

"No, it's fine," Luna replied, as she tried to tap into the energy waves to see if Anakin or Padmé were around. "Where is Master Skywalker and Senator Amidala?"

"Waiting for us."
