Anakin was a fast and reckless driver. Luna shouldn't have expected much else.

Therefore, it was a very good thing that she enjoyed roller coasters even though she had only ridden a handful throughout her life. Despite the fact there was no track, they were flying in the air, and there were tons of things to crash into, Luna found herself enjoying the entire ride as she swiveled around in the seat, trying to get a good look at the city while her hair blew in the wind, sometimes getting in her face. The moment Anakin and Padmé had found her, any fear of the city had disappeared, replaced with wonder.

She noticed Anakin watching her in amusement and not where he was driving. That's where she drew the line.

"Eyes on the road!" Luna yelled over the wind. Anakin chuckled as he looked back at where they were going.

"There is no road," he pointed out.

"You know what I mean! Eyes on the airspace or whatever." Neither of them said anything for a few seconds before they both burst out laughing.

"You sound like Obi-Wan."

"No, he'd say you're trying to kill us. I actually like the speed," Luna replied, grinning.

"Quite the daredevil, aren't you?" Anakin asked as he pulled the speeder into a parking space by the Temple.

"Only when it comes to things that will probably not kill me," Luna replied, smiling.

"I see," Anakin replied, hopping out before walking towards the entrance. Luna got out of the speeder much slower, openly staring at the building in front of her. Anakin stopped when he realized she wasn't following. "Come on, Luna. You can sightsee later."

"Right, sorry," Luna said, snapping out of her trance at his voice before hurrying to catch up. Anakin just shook his head and smiled, remembering the first time he had laid eyes on the Jedi Temple.

"I'll give you the grand tour later, but first, we need to make it to this meeting," he told her as he lead them through the halls. Luna tried to make sure she didn't openly stare while still staring. She was unaware that a good many of the halls they went through even existed, and the movies, comics, and shows didn't do the building justice.

While she was looking, Luna couldn't help but notice some of the Jedi looking at her in curiosity or in disapproval.

It was then that she realized that her clothes stuck out like a sore thumb among the different shades of brown that the Jedi wore.

Luna subconsciously stayed closer to Anakin after she realize this, being noticed was not something she was used too or enjoyed. To say most of her life had been lived in the shadows could have easily been the understatement of the millennium.

Blatantly, she realized that she was heading to a group of people that would scrutinize her all at once and not even hide it. Scary was an understatement and for a few moments she questioned whether or not it was actually a good idea to visit the Council and if she could possibly find a way around ever seeing them.

Luna tried to cheer herself up by thinking of comment sections which lead her to imagining the Council with glitter in their beards with serious expressions as they stroked said beards, the glitter sprinkling down onto their laps.

She had to force herself not to laugh at the image. In fact, Luna was so caught up in the image that she almost ran into Anakin when he stopped. He looked at her questioningly while Luna came out of her daydream, quickly realizing that they were in front of the door to the Council Chamber.

Any and all amusement disappeared as her nerves returned at full force.

"Hey, don't worry," Anakin reassured her. "I'll be right with you."

Luna just nodded, unable to speak because of the fear settling in the back of her throat.

Fortunately, or unfortunately depending how you saw things, the door decided to open. Anakin walked through the doorway.

Luna took one last deep breath and followed.
