Luna waited at the end of the dark hallway, lightsaber in hand, but not activated. She calmed herself as much as she could as she waited for Vader to appear. Luna could feel he was near and that it wouldn't be long. By now Luke and Anakin would have met up, and Luke would have hopefully convinced his father to go back to the Falcon to escape.
Luna was praying to the Force that she wasn't being too hopeful, like she probably was. Anakin wasn't one to leave people he knew behind.
What was the point in doing this again?
Right, slow down Vader. Having a lightsaber meant that he would fight her the old fashioned way. She would not be able to do much, but it would hopefully be enough for the two Skywalkers to get the Falcon and for everyone to leave. Luna could make herself a curiosity, causing Vader to take a little more time with her.
She knew that is was a good thing that she had left her room because otherwise Luke would have been in the hallway that had been destroyed. Other than that though, she was just one more thing to worry about. They would be better off without her. She was a nobody from Earth that no one cared about. It would probably be helpful if she would just disappear.
Luna looked down at the lightsaber in her hand and immediately felt guilty. It was supposed to be an honor to wield a lightsaber, a miracle to touch one, the Skywalker Lightsaber no less. She had practically stolen it from its rightful owner, and there was small chance that Luke would be getting it back.
Yes, she was holding a lightsaber, but she didn't deserve it.
Luna came back to reality as she heard the sounds of a respirator come from the darkness.
"Lord Vader," she said to the darkness as she moved to a ready stance. Her voice didn't waver. Strangely, she found that she wasn't afraid.
Not a moment later, a red saber came to life, revealing the Sith in front of her. Luna activated her blue blade.
"Who are you?" Vader asked as he watched the child in front of him. The same girl he had met with Luke on Bespin. She held the lightsaber as if she was raised to use it, but she was not Force sensitive, that much was obvious. He had sensed her and tried to get into her mind, but she was somehow able to disappear from the Force before he could find out more.
"No one really," Luna replied honestly, waiting for him to make the first move as she opened herself up to the Force as much as possible while still keeping her thoughts to herself.
Vader attacked and Luna blocked him easily. She wasn't fooled, he was testing her. Apparently he didn't know what to think of her so he was trying to figure out how much she knew. That meant she could buy more time for Luke and Anakin.
Or there was more time for Luke and Anakin to do something stupid that involved keeping Vader from killing her. Either way, more time for them to do something.

Anakin could hear lightsabers clashing not far from him and Luke, and he triple checked to make sure that he was cloaking himself and Luke to the best of his ability. Anakin would have ran headlong down the hall and joined Luna if it weren't for Luke being with him and for Luna having said that what ever happened, Vader could not see him. So he was trying to be patient and come up with a plan.
"Any ideas?" Luke asked as they slowed down. They were beginning to run out of time and had already run into groups of stormtroopers. If they didn't do something soon, Luna wouldn't be the only one in trouble. The Falcon would be forced to leave without them if they didn't hurry.
"I'm working on it," Anakin replied as they made it to a fork, at which point they stopped and ducked back into the hall they had come from before anyone could notice them. They had found Luna.
