Maribell

Sebastian didn't anything during the drive. While Freya sang some stupid songs and I just sighed impatiently.

"So..." Freya broke the silence. "You guys are upset with each other, huh? Problems in the paradise." She said.

Sebastian and I didn't say anything. He kept driving and I, sighed again.

"So? You're not talking?" Freya sighed. "A Pack member told me anything. Maribell made the stupid mistake to disobey you and made you look like a fool. Well, did you try to hear her out and explained to her why had idea was wrong. People yell because they don't feel heard, Alpha. You guys clearly have communicating issues! And you'll never move forward if you don't hear each other." Freya said and she was right.

Sebastian and I talked but sometimes we didn't communicate. We didn't hear each other.

"Mind your own business." Sebastian finally said.

"Oh I will. Once I find my man in the Argentum pack. And I will definetly not give him a silence treatment!" She huffed and pouted her mouth childishly.

Minutes later I heard snores from the backseats. Freya was sleeping.

I looked at Sebastian, wondering if we could talk but he only looked at the road. I decided to look at the blurry view I had from the window and laid my head on it. In minutes I closed my eyes and slept too.

...

I heard screams, cries and evil laughs.

"Oh goddess!" I almost jumped from my seat.

"What is it?" Sebastian asked worried.

"I-I heard screams and people laughing-" tears streamed down my face.

"Where... I can't hear anything..." then he sighed. "Sometimes I forget that you have better senses than I have. We're still a bit away from the Argentum Pack."

"We have to get there fast."

"That's what I'm trying to do."

...

We finally arrived in the Argentum Pack. I saw the chaos right in front of my eyes. People were so cruel. Men were killing people for fun.

I saw a girl running and yelling for help. A man came right behind her.

The man held the girl's hand and pinned her hands against a tree. He took a knife out of his pocket.

"Oh no." I got out of the car and quickly ran to help the girl. When I got to them, I burried my hand inside his back and pulled his heart out of his body. The man fell backwards.

I looked at my left hand. Full of blood, with his heart still beating inside it. I quickly threw the heart away and looked at the girl who was trembling.

"It's okay... I'm not here to hurt you." I said hiding my left hand so I didn't scare her.

"P-please. Save my mother... her name is Milene and- and-" she looked at one of the guards.

"Mine." One of the men I came with said. "Mate."

"M-mate? My mate?"

They looked at each other with so much love.
