"You want this that bad?" The very voice of the man himself, the one that gave her these powers, spoke to her.

She stopped herself from nodding. She knew that she shouldn't be doing this, but how else were she to survive in this world? This world surrounded--ruled by-- the very demons that killed people whom she loved?! She had nothing else to live for in the other world... The Naedi nodded, hair spilling over her shoulders and some covering her guilt ridden face. How could she "betray" her family... everyone... by become the very thing that they had fought to rid their world of?

The demon laid his hand on her head and blue flames engulfed the  girl and her screams along with it.

"...Stop..." She said, voice croaky. Her nails digging into her palm, blood spilling from the cuts. She sat up, no longer was her mind in the painful dream. The white dress that she wore was covered in dirt from the previous run in with the man who had caused injury to her ear. Her eyelids fluttered open behind the bandages, the nightmare had awoken her from her hellish slumber. Night air pecking at her delicate skin.

"Man, are you sure that you saw her escape this way?" The voice was masculine, but shaky. "Oh, GOD--there's a bug!" He sounded terrified. His heart rate had greatly increased, and his breathes became a bit shaky. His footsteps became heavier and lighter, and then heavier again.

"Shiima--dude, calm down. I'm positive that this was the way that she went." This voice... hah, the Son of Stan had returned, has he? Maybe she could have fun with this. There was no way that they would be able to find her... unless she let them.

However, the night was nearing an end, and she found hersel still wanting her precious sleep. Her sleep that she cherished so much, and yet she found her nightmares chasing her back to this world called reality.

"I don't like this, Rin." The one called Shiima spoke.

"Oh grow a pair, why won't ya?" It was a mean comment to others, but it wasn't to the two males it seemed.

"Grow some first." He responded immediately.

The girl found the only reason why she stayed awake was due to the duo's chit-chat and sometimes small remarks on females' body part--which would be natural, after all, they are of that age.  The Naedei allowed herself to relax into the tree, but made sure as to make no sound, not even a single breathe could be heard.

A rustle was heard from a neighboring tree though. A light was shined over. The Naedei made sure as to not have a single ray of light touch her delicate form. "Wow! Cool~! A raccoon!" The Son of Stan, now known as Rin, spoke excitedly, and, not even had a thought of consequences, lunged for a raccoon to hold. The raccoon "hissed" violently at the blue-haired boy and made a mad dash to & up the tree the demon-girl was located in. "Hey! Come back!"

"You think you might want to leave it alone..." Shiima spoke worriedly. "That raccoon might have rabies or some other disease!"

"No way!" Rin ignored his friend, "It's too cool!" He began to climb the tree. The girl's breathe hitched in her throat, her heart rate increased. She could feel the vibrations of the tree from being climbed upon, the weight of the boy being fully supported by the tree, and the closer her got, the more the girl feel like she was a rabbit cornered.  He reached the branch she was in...

And kept climbing, totally unaware of the demonic presence.

"Come 'ere, raccoon!" He playfully called, reaching out for the creature. "Fak!" He yelled and lost his balance, but managed to grab the branch and clutch to it for dear life. His body was flipped over, and his positioned somewhat resembled a sloths'. His blue orbs were met with bandaged ones. "I found her..." He muttered, eyes in bewilderment and awe as he looked at her ears and was a bit saddened to see the damage his brother's bullet caused to one.

An awkward silence filled the air, then Shiima yelled from below. "Yo! Rin! You okay up there?" He asked, "Ack--! A spider..! shi-shi-shit-shi--"

"I'm fine!" Rin spoke back, his eyes stilled fixated on the girl. He turned his voice to her, "I'm Rin... The Son of Satan, if that helps better introduce me."

She didn't know what to say back to him. And, the fact that he knew that she was a demon had astonished her. But, then again, there is that sort of click that let's one know who is and who isn't a demon. She refused to answer him, more as she couldn't answer. Her words were caught in her throat in fear. This was his son, what he did to her his son could do worse...

So, instead of introducing herself, the Naedie just "looked" at him and muttered a small "Thank you." And she jumped down from the tree, landed in front of a very shocked and bedraggled pinkette, and took off running, ignoring the calls to "wait" from Rin & Shiima.

Once she was certain she was far enough from "Rin", the demon stopped to catch her breath.

"Running again, are we?" A voice not of her own, or any of the boys she had met, had spoken.
