Info on reader-chan
In this story, reader-chan is a slightly high ranking demon. She is referred to as a rare "Naedei" [nigh-dey] (randomly called it that with no references...heh), meaning "demon in human clothing". She is, however, blind. Her ears, resembling rabbits, can hear exceedingly well and allow her to see the outline of most things. Her eyes are covered with white bandages that wrap around her head, covering the color of her eyes. Satan himself put the bandages there to prohibit her sight, in turn for giving her such great power. None can take it off...or that is what all think.

Light footsteps were hitting against the ground, the feeling of soft grass was a pleasant contrast against the dry dirt. Green foliage shaded a petite, rabbit-eared figure against the bright sun as the figure walked along the path, stopping every once in a while to take in the "view". Flowers were popping up from the ground in some places, their buds already beginning to bloom.
The figure slowly bent down, small fingers gently pressed against flower petals. The soft touch was enjoyable and the scent that emitted from the flower was...wonderful. The figure slowly stood, picking the flower up from it's root and holding it carefully, so that the petals would not "fall". Just as the figure was about to walk away, a voice came from a presence that it had not noticed. It had been clumsy as to make sure that it was not around anyone, much less the person whom just addressed it.
"Stop right there."
It was an request--no, a demand, an order--that came from a masculine voice that she had not known of truly, but did know. The trees moved as wind flowed through the leaves, the now know girl had been exposed, and so had her "identity" along with it. She sent a quizzical look over her shoulder as she stopped, the noted flower could be seen in her soft hands.
The voice was masculine, and belong to someone that most others' of her kind told her to be slightly wary of. She could not see the person behind the voice, and that made her feel a bit out of place. Heavy footsteps came closer and the sound of something metal being pulled back and "hitched" was heard. What was this feeling that gripped at her very heart strings. Was it anxiety? Loss? No, she knew now what it was, it was fear.
"Naedei..." The voice was now gruff, low. It sounded angry, mad, sad, many emotions all clumped together, it was hard to decipher.
She could feel something being pointed dead at her. It made her very being shiver.
"Die."
Who knew that a single word could freeze a being? With that one word, the Naedei being was scared. She didn't know what to do. Something was fired, her ears picked it up. The projectile whizzed right past her, slightly dinging her ear. She let out a human-like scream of pain.
This caused her "murderer" to pause for a moment. She could hear his heart hammering against his chest, his heavy breathing, the very mutters of anger he was spilling to himself.
"Yukio, stop!" Another voice... She was familiar with this one. It couldn't have been... "What the hell, man?!"
"The son of Satan...." She spoke silently, the words lingered on her lips but eventually escaped. Her words went unnoticed by the squabbling brothers behind her.
"Can't you see that she's blind?! And what's more she doesn't even have a weapon! All she has in her hands is a fucking flower!" The male that had just saved you spoke.
She heard a grunt and then, "So what? She's a demon! A damned naedei! Don't you remember what one did to Shiemi?!"
She took this as a perfect chance to escape, and so she did, even if she wanted to linger upon hearing of what happened to this "Shiemi" person. She retreated into the denser foliage, unseen by the two males. The demon decided that she would observe them. In her own way.
Their voices were raised to a higher volume now. They were yelling at each other. Profane language bounced back and forth. A chuckle escaped her as she realized that they were very close to be comfortable with communicating with each other like that.
The duet left the greenery.
Son of Satan, I owe you a debt of gratitude... She thought, night now covering the threshold of life. The thought of what happened to this "Shiemi" person kept entering her mind as she lay awake. And so, she decided that she should just..go to bed.
The demon gradually nodded off to a silent, peacefully slumber.
