eden's hospital stay

Daniel is vlogging himself as he drives back to the hospital to be with Joey and Eden. Maria is watching the other six kids at home!

Daniel has bought some vegan food for himself and Joey since they really don't like the hospital food.

"Hellur! Happy Friday! I am headed back to the hospital! If you follow Joey or I on Instagram you will already know we haven't been home and have been in the hospital with Eden." Daniel says as he pulls up at the Starbucks drive thru.

"Sorry about that. I had to get my man and I some Starbucks. The Starbucks at the hospital is double the price, which is insane. Anyway, Joey is currently at the hospital with Eden and I just went home to check on the kids and my mom. I wanted to make sure my mom was doing okay, she has a cold herself." Daniel says as he fixes his hair.

"Eden isn't doing well right now so please pray for her. She's doing better then the other day though. Eden was diagnosed with RSV two days ago. I don't know the full name of it, so please Google it if you want the full name. So RSV is kinda like a really bad cold but mostly babies and really young kids get it. And since she is only a few weeks old, she doesn't know how to blow her nose or cough up the nasty stuff. So Eden is at the hospital getting treatment and much needed medicine. Before we came to the hospital, Eden was so fussy, she wasn't sleeping or eating much and Joey and I got very concerned. Joey and I took her to the pediatrician and the pediatrician said to take Eden to the hospital immediately. With having seven children, we are so lucky that we haven't had too many emergency room emergencies! All we had dealt with so far was Aspen's febrile seizures when she was little and she hasn't had one since she was two. Max sprained his arm a few months back and Max and Haven both had croup in November." Daniel says as Daniel's iPhone begins to ring.

"Sorry about the jump cut, Joey called and wanted me to get him food which I already did. I know my man very well. Joey said the doctor is going to check on Eden soon so I wanna be there when the doctor comes. Eden is in the NICU so I don't know how much we can vlog since there are a lot of other babies in the NICU. I will see you guys later!" Daniel says as he waves goodbye.

Daniel vlogs a time lapse of himself walking through the hospital. Daniel films the NICU sign and films himself putting a pale yellow gown on, which is required to be in the NICU. Daniel then walks into the NICU ward and finds Joey and Eden.

Joey is curled up in a rocking chair while Eden is sleeping in an incubator next to him. Joey smiles as he sees his husband Daniel. Joey hasn't left the hospital since Eden was admitted and missed Daniel dearly even though he was gone for a few hours.

"Hey babe. How are you feeling?" Daniel asks Joey as he puts all of the things he brought down on the table that is next to Joey.

"I'm good, babe. I just woke up from a nice nap actually. Eden has been sleeping, which is good. The doctor said she wants to come in and check on Eden and talk with us. I hope Eden is getting better, I absolutely hate this." Joey says as Daniel hugs him tightly.

"I think Eden is getting better. She looks better, she's sleeping and eating. Don't worry, babe. She is at the best children's hospital in California to get better." Daniel says as he kisses Joey.

"I hope so. I would hate for something horrible to happen. I would be absolutely devastated." Joey says with a frown.

"Hey, don't think like that. Don't think like that, babe. She is going to get better, don't worry. I brought you a Starbucks drink and some food. Maybe that will cheer you up some." Daniel says making Joey smile.
