Today is a BIG day for Aspen!
Today is Aspen's first ever gymnastics competition since the COVID quarantine that started back in mid March!
This gymnastics competition is going to be a HUGE one for Aspen because the top five gymnasts in this competition will go on to the Cali Games which is a huge gymnastics competition in California!
Different parts of California compete as teams of six to see who is the "best" in California.
Aspen is finally old enough to go to the Cali Games and she is so excited!
All of the gymnasts in the competition all live in Los Angeles so they will be part of the LA team!
Right now, everybody is getting ready to head to the arena where the competition is going to be held!
Aspen is pacing in the kitchen, her nerves are high today.
"Don't be nervous! Just go out there and have fun!" Maria says as she hugs Aspen.
"I know, Nonna! I just can't wait to go out there and perform! I haven't had a competition in months!" Aspen says as she chuckles and smiles making Maria smile at Aspen.
"I know you will do amazing." Maria says as she kisses Aspen's cheek.
Then Everett walks over to Maria and Aspen happily.
"Yeah! You will be state champion for sure Aspen!" Everett says to Aspen.
"Thanks, Ev! I hope I qualify and make the LA team to the Cali Games! That would be so cool!" Aspen says as she smiles.
Just then, Daniel, Joey and Ash walk over. Daniel and Joey are wearing shirts that say "Gymnastic Papa" and "Gymnastic Dad".
Maria is also wearing a gymnastic shirt that says "My Favorite Gymnast Calls Me Nonna".

Aspen smiles at all the support from her family and she continues pacing around the kitchen, mumbling her routines to herself.
"I can't wait to see all of the show moms out there that scream when their child gets .5 points deducted and has a meltdown over it." Daniel says as Joey laughs loudly.
"You are totally a show mom too, Danny." Joey says as Ash babbles happily.
"Oh, shush!" Daniel says as he kisses Joey and Joey kisses him back.
