"Hey, sis,"
Wanda couldn't speak. She couldn't move. She could barely stand on her legs.
This could not be true, this wasn't possible. She'd been there, it didn't work... Did it?
Vision flew through the ceiling. No one noticed, all way too busy watching Pietro in front of them, alive and well, no bullet holes to be seen.
"Pietro?" Wanda whispered, the tears running down her face once again. A big smile broke free on her brother's face. He spread his arms, showing that he was indeed fine.
Rhodey walked in, looking annoyed. He was about to begin a speech about 'no man left behind', only to hold it back when he saw the scene. Everyone looked at their old teammate, two kids were standing a bit behind, Vision was hovering just above the ground, and Wanda looked as if she'd seen a ghost. Which, to be fair, wasn't at all far from an accurate description. It was as if the room was completely frozen, nobody moving, the kids barely daring to breathe while trying to figure out what the hell was going on.
"Wanda," Pietro said, "It's me. I'm here, I'm alive." Wanda shook her head, running towards him, throwing her arms around him. Pietro didn't hesitate to return the gesture and wrap his arms around his sister.
"I- I thought it didn't- I couldn't- you weren't-" Wanda was sobbing into her brother's chest. Pietro hushed her, rocking her slightly.
"It's okay, it's okay. I'm here. I'm not leaving, I promise."

"So," Tony said, trying to get a hold of it all, "You're saying that you guys tried for almost 2 months to bring him back, and you actually succeeded just now?"
"Yeah, only we thought it hadn't worked." Rhodey explained. "We've tried it a hundred times, but it simply didn't work. We eventually gave up, sending Wanda home while we searched the area one last time. We had been searching for about 3 hours, when we found him standing in the woods nearby, completely fine. We came here as fast as we could."
The room was silent for a while, everyone thinking it over, all trying to wrap their heads around it.
But really, Michelle was just very confused.
"Okay, but who the hell are you anyway?" She asked like it was a normal, everyday question. Everyone turned to look at her. Peter, who was standing next to her, looked too, trying not to make it obvious that he was about to ask the exact same thing.
Pietro just laughed, looking at the kids with clear amusement in his eyes.
"I am just the real life Flash." He said, his eyes twinkling. That, of course, had the wrong effect.
"You're Flash? You're a bully who goes to high school? No, that's- wait. Are you his dad?!" Peter asked immediately, eyes wide.
Now it was Pietro's turn to be confused.
MJ merely face palmed.
"No," Pietro tried to explain, confusion clear through his thick accent, "I mean from the comics. You know, the guy with super speed."
Peter immediately muttered a small "Oh..." and looked down with a red head. Michelle was still confused.
"Sorry, not a major comic fan. Who?"
"He's a guy who got hit by lightning and ended up in a coma. When he woke up, he had super speed. Come on, there's even a TV series about it!" Peter immediately explained. "Although, it doesn't really make sense. I mean, lightning? They said it was with an explosion, and it had to do with science, so I guess that's kinda cool. But I guess it's just-"
