So, I noticed I kind of neglected this diary lately. I just don't know what to write in here. It's just, a lot has happened. Tony Stark almost died in front of me, then came back okay. So that's good. He seems pretty sad about it, but yeah, I wouldn't be happy either if my chest was housing a superman flashlight.

And oh, guess what? I almost got raped! Great. Ever since the application, things have gotten weird. It's like I'm cursed or something. Or blessed? Maybe both, I mean, the day I applied, I had that run-in with Parker. After that, Pepps told me of the internships. I applied, and came in more contact with Peter. I had the application, and Tony Stark almost died. Then, it turned out Peter was Spider-Man (how weird is that?!).

And then you have that Bucky guy. I still don't know what to make of him. He seemed so nice, familiar in some way. But on- the night, he had turned into a murderous beast with no sense for reason, just murderous thoughts and acts. Yet, he had still seemed protective, in his own way. Is he kind of, like, the better-looking Hulk?

"Michelle!" Pepper called from the kitchen. MJ closed her diary, safely tucking it away in her bag. She smiled at her guardian, who was making delicious pancakes. Pepper had returned as soon as she had received the call from Tony, explaining everything the best he could without giving the woman a panic attack. As soon as Pepper had gotten home, she had held her girl in her arms, rocking her as they both cried. She had stayed with her all night, telling her she would be there when she'd fall asleep, and still be there once she woke up.

Those were the words her father used to whisper to her whenever she was scared. He'd say: 'Starfish, I'm here. I'll be here when you fall asleep, and when you open those precious eyes of yours, I'll still be right here.'

She would always be able to sleep after that, her father's soft, Irish voice soothing her restless mind. She missed him so much...

Pepper was doing everything she could to help her. She whispered those words that she knew would calm her down. She got back home from an SI business trip every time Michelle needed her to. No matter how important that trip was, she'd always come back for her. And, of course, she had offered MJ a safe haven. A place where she would be welcome 24/7. A place that she could come home to.

Michelle walked over to her guardian, feeling incredibly grateful all of a sudden that she was going out of her way to help her.

"Hey, I was wondering if you could- oh!" Pepper yelped in surprise when Michelle just wrapped her arms around her. She didn't hesitate to return the gesture, engulfing her in a pancake-smelling hug. Michelle crept in even closer, if that was even possible. There in her guardian's arms, it was almost as if she was back with her parents.

But of course, it wasn't the same. No matter how sweet and caring Pepper was for her, and how much they loved each other, it was still different. It still wasn't her father's heavy accent lulling her to sleep every night. It was still not her mother's long, blond locks tickling her neck with every hug they shared.

"Pepper," she said, breaking the hug to look up at the woman. "I want to see my mom."

"You remember me,"  It was only a whisper, but it was so full of hope. Tony was taken back by the tone and he looked at the kid with a still worried but soft look on his face.

"Of course I do," he said. And in attempt to cheer the kid up a bit, he added; "How could I forget a little genius who tried to kill me with a potato gun?" But even he didn't miss the concern in his own voice.

Harley just shook his head, tears pooling in his eyes, lip trembling. Tony looked shocked. Did he say something wrong?

"No- wait. Don't cry, please. I've dealt with enough crying people for one day." He said, raising his arms in vague attempt to stop the kid from crying "Actually, I think I'm good for a couple weeks- oh come on. What did I say? Don't, please don't cry... Oh, there we go." he let his arms fall as the kid started sobbing, tears running free now.
