I woke up to the sound of a sneeze. "Sorry, didn't want to wake you," my lovely husband said shifting to look at me. I shift in my side to look at him.

"Bless you," I say giggling. "What time is it?"

"Hmm time for more sleep," he says closing his eyes jokingly. I giggle.

"Maybe for you, but the doctors may want to see their patient at some point," I say, shifting starting to get up. I feel his muscular arms wrapped around me.

"Hmm five more minutes please," he whispers, drawing me to him. I hit his arm lightly. He suddenly flips over so he is hovering over me.

"Did you just hit me?" He says so serious.

"Mmm maybe," I say getting a little scared.

"Well well, the punishment for hitting your husband, let alone the king is torture, are you ready to face your punishment?" He says. Punishment?  Without any warning, he starts to tickle me. I can't control my laughing, and I try to push him away.

"Stop it!" I scream with laughter. That is when the door opens all of a sudden.

"Your Highness, is everything Al-" the nurse says franticly, but stops when she sees Maxon hovering over me.

"Yes Mia, I'm alright," I say moving out from under him. "Do you know when I will be released?"

"Well we were waiting till you woke up to give you the results from our tests," she says looking to the side. That is always a bad sign.

"Okay let us get ready, then we can talk," I hear Maxon say behind me.

"Yes your Majesty," the nurse says, giving a little curtsy before leaving the room. I rolled back over to look at my husband.

"See I told you the doctors wanted to see their patient," I joked, getting up out of bed.

"Yeah well I wanted to snuggle my wife. I think I win," he says laughing. We both get ready as quick as we can, and head out to the nurses corner. Maxon clears his throat to get the nurses attention.

"Okay, you two can follow me," she says, taking us to a room with a desk, three chairs, and a computer.

We sit quietly in the room, waiting for the doctor. The only thing that is semi entertaining is watching the birds flying in and out of a hole that is in the side of the building. Every once in a while, a bird would fly out, and go somewhere. One time, the little one forgot where it was, and hit the window. I felt bad for the bird, but it flew away and was okay. A little while after that, there was a knock on the door.

"Come in," Maxon said. The doctor that was doing the tests yesterday walked in. He didn't look up, but walked to his desk, and turned the computer on.

"Hello your Majesty, your Highness. How are you feeling today Queen America," The doctor says, finally looking at me.

"I'm doing good," I answer politely.

"That's good. So first I want to apologize about yesterday.  You were right, I was out of line," he says bowing his head. I could see from the corner of my eye that Maxon looked over at me curiously.

"God, please don't let that happen again," I say a bit more sternly. I see the doctor nod his head.

"So for your test results," he says more hesitantly. "Ma'am I am sorry to say, but you had a mild heart attack."

After he said those words, it felt my world stopped. "What?" I say quietly.

"It seems that you have a bit of a weaker heart. Any stress could cause a heart attack. What happened yesterday was it was under a bit of stress, and caused a heart attack. If the King wouldn't have called when he did, it would have worsened, and cause more damage," he explains.

"So why did it cause pain in my abdomen?" I ask.

"That was from the lack of oxygen getting to those muscles. When you tried to use them, they cramped up because the blood wasn't getting their fast enough, which caused the heart attack to go from a minor stage to a mild stage," he explains. I could feel the fear rising up. This is how my dad died. I start to shake.

"I will let you guys alone, I'll tell the nurse to get your papers ready so you can leave," the doctor says, standing and walking out the door.

"Mer are you okay," Maxon says. I can't speak, so I just shake my head. I don't want to put my kids in the position dad did with us. I can't! Maxon just holds me closer, and lets me cry a bit more before going and signing the papers, and coming back to get me. He carries me out of the hospital, and we start to head back to the palace.
