Maid's POV
My name is Maggie, and today is my first day in the castle as a maid. A guard, who seems to be in a hurry, interrupts my training on how to clean the spare bedrooms for impending guests.

"Ma'am have you seen Queen America anywhere" says an officer.

"No sir, why is something wrong?" I say worried for our Queen.

"She is missing," he replies before walking away looking through the different rooms down the hall. I get up from my post and head down another hallway to help look for her.

I check every room, and unlock the ones that seem to be locked until I open the last room in the dead end, and find a lump on the mattress. I know from training that we never haphazardly places pillows in the bed so I knew something was different. I slowly walked to the lump and shook it. A girl screamed

"Oh my god I'm so sorry, I thought something was wrong!" I say to a girl with bright red hair. I looked up and realized it wasn't just a girl, it was my Queen!

"Oh my god your Majesty I am so sorry! Please I'll do anything for your forgiveness!" I say scared of what she may do.

"No, no it's okay Miss.... wait you don't look familiar? What's your name?" She asks. I can't believe she is asking for my name!

"Maggie Brechbill ma'am" I respond.

"Well Miss. Maggie you were just doing your job it's okay. Plus I shouldn't have fallen asleep here," she says starting to get out of the bed. "Oh and what time is it?"

"It's four in the evening ma'am" I answer

"WHAT!! Oh no Maxon is probably worried sick," she says rubbing her hand over her forehead.

"I think the king is worried, he has a search party looking for you right now. I should probably help you find him," I say remembering the path the guard went.

"Please that would be amazing. I can't believe I slept for six hours! Oh well. Now let's go and calm the castle down," she jokes as we leave the room. We talked about everything and anything. From or past lives to how we came here, and even of our families. It was in these moments that I realized how normal our Queen once was.

When we finally found a guard, I went back to cleaning the rooms, but this time with purpose to please America.
