In legends and movies, immortals are represented as mythical or fictional characters that don’t exist in reality. They are imaged as Greek Gods, Vampires, Monsters, Wizard, etc. Immortals are always worshiped, respected, obeyed and above all feared.
People watch those movies or read those stories and, whilst reading or watching, they believe for a mere period of time that immortal creatures and immortality exist, but seconds after they stop reading or when the movie’s done, they return back to their normal lives, believing that immortals do not exist and that they are just a figment of the author’s imagination, but we know immortals exist.
Immortals may not be creatures that live forever, suck blood, and perform magic, transfigure blah, blah, blah. No. Immortals, in real life, are people who live, doing something very affecting during their soon-to-end life, and when they die, people remember them forever for their magnificent, unforgettable accomplishments.
We are immortals, and we do exist. We create our own kind of art, an art which turns the whole world upside down, an art that people know, believe in, and mostly; fear.
Upon your fear, we feed. Upon your sins, we bring to book. You're all nonchalant human beings, but we are present to compentase your pathic excuse of an apathetic being.
Forever, we shall remain. Our name rings through the crowded street of New York City, our works shall never be forgotten, our souls may never be dispersed, our beliefs may never change, and our lives may never go to waste.
Forever, we shall remain.
