Valencia
When life turns to be unfair
C h a p t e r 41: No Escape.
She was falling under the spell of the devil who was begging her to end it all.
She wished she could, but she didn't. Her brother's sad smile when he said 'see you soon' was hunting her thoughts.
"Why did he send me here? I wish I was more mentally stable." She muttered to herself.
If she wasn't a mess, Zack would never send her away, she'd be home, falling in love, going out with some friends, but instead, she attracted trouble and she's looking for a way out.
"She wanted a way out. She was so careful not to get caught. Valencia went to the club every day at the same time, but she went to all her classes. That's where she was planning her way out of that mess.
She collected money and hid it in her locker to collect the price of a ticket for a flight back home.
I can't imagine being in her shoes. Even though our stories are both linked by some similar event, but she had it worse than me... way worse. It's amazing how she could keep her sanity under all that stress and the accumulated feelings she turned off so she can survive. Most of the times, there was someone keeping an eye on her, which must've been a nightmare."
Declan felt as if someone stole his voice. He didn't want to listen anymore, it was too much. He helped them get her again, ruining what's left of her because of nothing.
"She didn't make it. She bought the ticket online, but the day of the flight when she reached the airport, she wasn't alone." Declan's mother sighed and looked down, no longer able to look at her son's face as tears were streaming down his face nonstop. "They were everywhere, waiting for her appearance. She noticed them. She recognised some faces and noticed they were all armed. I can't understand where the fuck was the police. Valencia took steps back to slam into someone. She heard some glass crash and turned around to face a man who was standing shocked looking down. When she followed his gaze she saw a package on the floor. She was panicking, they didn't notice her yet so she muttered an apology and was preparing to run away but the man stopped her.
"Do you realise what you just did?" he asked calmly, his eyes burning with fury.
She looked around her, eyes wide as she tried to release her arm from his grab.
"YOU JUST DESTROYED A PRICEFUL GIFT I WAS GONNA GIVE TO MY DAUGHTER."
That's how everyone noticed them. Valencia turned blue as her eyes were silently begging him to let her go. She was looking back and forth between the man and the other men as they were approaching them, smirking.
She started begging him to let her go as she started shaking. Her legs turned to jelly in fear.
The man kept yelling at her, asking for the police.
"Do you have a problem here sir?" she felt her blood turning into ice when she heard the voice of the man talking. Declan, I just can't imagine how she felt that time. He was the man who warned her to remember who she belongs to. He was getting out of his pocket a police badge.
The guy started blabbering but the man kept his eyes on Valencia until the other men got there. "Take her to the police station, I'll take care of this." And as he was handcuffing her, he whispered to her:" You've just ruined the rest of your life."
