Chapter 21: You can't be...

Small A/N beofer the chapter starts, i know there has been alot of kissing chapters, and i'm so sorry if it annoys you but i had to get the out of the way before the really serious stuff happens, again so sorry.

*(Y/N)'s P.O.V*

I ran straight to my dorm room and locked the door as the wind picked up outside and the air became ominous. I looked out the window to see the clouds completely covering the moon and stars, the lamps were once again out leaving the grounds in complete and utter darkness. I shivered as the wind blew my curtains and they brushed ever so gently on my cheek "Sister~" a voice chimed "w-what?" i called "well, not really, i'm just a vessel however my real body is awaiting you my dear sister" the voice said from behind me. I whizzed around to be met with a grey almost purple haired female who looked a couple years younger then myself, some of her was styled to look like a flower "my name is Maria" she chimed with a childish smile yet the deviousness behind it didn't go unnoticed. She giggled  and skipped towards me and leaned close to my face "i am your sister's cousin but- for now i am her so feel free to call me sis, okay?" she asked "there's no way..." i whispered "because i'm her cousin it means i'm your cousin as well, so...hello long lost relative" she said. I breathed in deeply catching a whiff of her scent my eyes widened then narrowed "vampire" i hissed "pleasure" she teased "well, i should be off as i wasn't supposed to arrive until tomorrow so i'll just be walking around 'till morning goodbye cousin or...sister" she waved and then jumped out of the window i didn't bother checking if shen was alright i knew she would be.

I walked over to my bed and flopped down onto it face first "why do things keep happening to me?! Why not someone else?" i asked closing my eyes and falling into a dreamless sleep. When i came to the sun was shining and everything that happened the night before seemed like a dream but i couldn't tell if it would be a bad dream or not. I groaned and sat up my old clothes sticking to my body, i crewed up my face and unpeeled it from my skin "i am in desperate need for a bath" i said. I walked into my bathroom and ran the warm water occasionally testing it and mixing some amount of cold water, once it was full i unclothed myself and stepped one toe into the water, comforatble with the temperature and laid in the bath and allowed the warm water to run over my tense muscles. I sighed in relief and my stiff body became normal, i leaned back until i was completely submerged in the clear water my hair flowed around me like a halo, bubbled flew from my mouth as i let out a little breath, i inwardly giggled at the sight of the bubbles floating up and then disappearing as they popped on the surface.

I waved my hand about underwater and observed how hte water wrapped around my fingers like an glove. I grinned and more bubbled flowed out of my mouth, i closed my eyes and thought back to my parents or...who i thought were my parents maybe i was adopted i mean i don't look anything like my mother or father and my parents didn't say anything about any siblings. I doubt my sister is human seeming as she keeps on contacting me in supernatural ways so does that mean...i wasn't human in the first place? I snapped my eyes open as my breath ran out and my lungs burned, i sat up and breathed deeply slicking my wet hair back to get it out my face. I wiped my face of excess water and sighed pulling my knees to my chest 'i need to stop thinking about it' i thought to myself, i stepped out of the bath and did the necessary things then put on my school uniform and headed to class. I rested my head in the palm of my hand and trailed my eyes over to the empty seat which Zero usually occupies "Don't mess this up Yuki! I don't want to get stuck preparing the ball again because of you" i heard the class president scoff. I rolled my eyes "hey prez." i called he looked over for a bit and blushed "y-yes?" he asked "don't worry about Yuki okay? At least we would still get to go and you can declare your love to Ruka" i said he blushed even brighter "just try not to mess up Yuki, so i can declare my love to not only Ruka but to (Y/N) as well" he whispered to Yuki but i heard it loud and clear. I chuckled and left as the bell rang.

~Timeskip to after school~

I tightened my disciplinary commitee arm band and sighed preparing for the crowd of crazy hormonal teen age girls. I jogged towards the gates of the night class dorm and huffed in frustration as i saw the huge crowd of fangirls, i pushed through the crowd and pushed them back with poor Yuki "where's Zero?" i asked, Yuki pointed towards the tree and i saw him snoozing cue anime sweat drop. The gates opened and the girls formed a path for them, Zero woke up and headed towards us, the night class passed us and i earned a smile from Kaname, Takuma, Shiki, Hanabusa and the very new student...Maria. Except she did more than smile the walked over and glomped me "good to see you sister~ See you soon" she chimed skipping along to keep up with the taller night class students "sister? you know her?" Zero asked standing rather far from me, i suppose he's nervous about his confession "no, she's strange though i'd keep my eyes on her if i were you" i lied about not knowing her but i had my reasons.

~Hours later~

It was ball time and we just finished preparing the ball room, i took a quick shower and prepared my dress (dress in the photo at the side) It was a gift from the headmaster, i laughed as i remembered his crying face as he babbled on about his little girl growing up and how proud he was of me. I did my hair up in a bun but a few strands hung down, it was curled but it looked natural i gasped at my own reflection and ghosted my fingers over my face "is that really me?" i asked myself "i guess it is" i sighed "now...for the embarassment" i walked out of my room and towards the audittorium where we held balls. I stepped through the large wooden doors and i immediately felt all eyes on me "u-um...continue dancing" i stuttered and they did as told but i got some fangirls walk over and gush over my dress. The class prez. walked over and and offered me his hand "may i escort the lady inside the building?" he asked obviously nervous, i gigglqed an laid my hand in his "thank you" i nodded my head in thanks. He blushed and walked me in leaving with a bow "that was sweet of him wasn't it?" Yuki said walking over to me "you look beautfiul" she complimented "thank you, as do you" i smiled "i'm going to the balcony, i'll see you around" i said to her, she nodded and walked over to the snack table.

I sighed and opened the glass dors then proceeded to lean on the marble railing "you look dazzling" a voice called from behind me, i turned around to be met with Kaname "thank you, you're not so bad yourself" i said with a smirk, he chuckled and leaned on the railing next to me "the night sky sure is beautiful" he whispered "i agree" i said turning my attention to the sky but what i didn't know is that i had not only had Kaname staring at me but loads of other eyes as well "i'm surprised Maria isn't here" i said breaking his stare "she said she had soemthing important to do, i don't trust her that much" he admitted. I nodded "neither do i" i agreed, when i glanced back to the ball room i saw Yuki looking around nervously then leaving to a random room, i cocke a brow "i'm...gonna go back inside okay? I'll seeb you around" i smiled and waved. Picking up my dress to run in the direction i saw Yuki walk off to, i opened the door and walked in hesitatnly "...so that's all i have to do?" i heard Yuki ask "yes" an all too familiar voice ask "sister~ I know you're there. Come out so i can see you" the voice said. I stepped out from the shadows and gasped as i stared at the familiar silver hair, her yukata and those peircing cold grey eyes.

I covered my mouth with my hand "Yuki get away from her!" i yelled "what? why?" she asked "that's Shizuka Hio, she killed Zero and my family" i told her "i knew she killed Zero's family but i had no idea she killed yours to!" Yuki gasped but made no move "she didn't kill everyone" i heard another feminine voice say, when i looked to the right i saw an elder Kimmy standing there with a monotone face on, next to her looked like Zero but i could tell it wasn't him "you're Zero's...twin?" i asked "yes" he replied "Kimmy, good to see you" i said wtih venom "you hate me?" she asked "you allowed her in my house! She killed my family!" i yelled "correction" Shizuka stood up and walked towards me "i killed your adoptive family" she continued brushing my hair over my shoulder and leaning close to smell up my neck "when i tasted your blood i knew, you are my sister. I fed you my blood so you coud unlock your memories but it seems to be taking time, like i said you may hate me but i will always love you" she said finally looking into my eyes. My head started to spin and flashed entered my mind and right before i slipped into unconsciousness i whispered something "but...y-you can't be..."  and then...darkness came.
