Kokichi attempted to get up out of the chair but he was stopped by Kirumi. "You need to rest. I do not want you falling over something which may lead to a more serious injury."

Kokichi tried to stand up again but he was once again stopped by Kirumi who was stronger than he first thought. "Ahh?!" He was forced back onto the chair with another confused scream. "M-Mom?! Let me goooo!"

"I am not going to let you go, I have already explained why. Now, are we going to repeat this routine or are you going to stop and let me help you?"

Kokichi opened his mouth to give a sarcastic reply but when he surprisingly couldn't think of one, he started sulking. "But if you keep me here all for yourself.. then I won't be able to talk to Shui—"

"Is it important?"

Kokichi looked at her again and shrugged, raising a finger up to his lips, "Who knows, I am a liar after all."

Kirumi huffed, slightly frustrated that she couldn't get a honest answer from the boy. She picked up the bag of frozen vegetables and pressed it down hard onto Kokichi's head, which resulted in another scream, "I am sorry, was that a bit too cold for you?"

Shuichi couldn't stop to think about what he had just done. "Did I really just kiss him.." Shuichi cut off his own thoughts. He had to stop thinking over it. All of his focus had to be on Himiko's magic show.. he had to see whether his hard work had payed off.

Shuichi pelted down the corridor, nearly tripping over as he ran. Eventually, he burst open the doors to see everyone staring at the tank which was covered by the curtain. He ran further into the Gym, finally stopping next to Maki and Kaito.

Maki stared at him, slightly worried by Shuichi's painfully worried expression. Maki nudged him subtly then whispered, "Don't lie to me Shuichi. Why do you look so worried?"

"Someone died last time but I should of stopped it." Shuichi voice was shaking as he told Maki the truth.

She looked at him for a few seconds before returning to look at the tank.

The timer counted down.

The curtains opened as the timer finished. Shuichi looked up to see exactly what he expected to see. Ryoma floating in the tank, wrists tied together in handcuf— "Shuichi." He felt someone shaking him.
