The Skill Of An Artist! (Part 1)

(A/N): What is this title?! XD

You loved drawing! Everyday you would draw something you love. You just had to!
Recently, your hobby had taken over when it came to your work. You worked in the taskforce in charge of catching Kira, see? That's right, you were working with L too! Gosh, he's so adorable!

Anyways, the day had begun and you came downstairs from your room to see everyone working hard as usual. You sat down at your seat and turned on your computer. Of course, it was taking ages to come on. Actually, it was taking a lot longer than you thought.

"Ugh!" you sighed and rested your head on the table.

You soon got an idea.

Whilst no one was looking, you grabbed your sketch book and began to just draw a doodle in it. You gazed at your computer screen.

'Oh god! It's doing a software update!' you thought. You drew your eyes back to your sketch book.

'It's boring just drawing a load of squiggles' you thought to yourself. You wanted to draw something cool!

You looked around the room to see if anything caught your eye.

Nothing.

All the members of the task force had their backs to you, so you couldn't draw them.

You turned to face L.

He was sitting, in his usual awkward position, stacking sugar cubes. He didn't seem to notice you staring directly at him.

'This is perfect!' you thought to yourself. You turned to a new page in your book and started to draw L, looking at him, then at your book as you proceeded.

'I have to make sure I have every little detail correct!' you thought to yourself.

-Little Bit Of A Time Skip-

"What's that your doing?" a familiar voice asks.

You jump and turn around in your seat to face L who had been peering over your shoulder, watching you draw.

You were doomed.

"Oh uh...it's nothing. Just another random character!" You blushed madly and laughed nervously.

"Oh really?" L asks, putting a finger to his lip. "It sure does look a lot like me. And I did catch you staring at me whilst you were drawing."

You should have known better.

"Alright. You got me" you shrugged. "I was drawing you."

"I thought so" L said. He picked up your sketch book and held it between his fingertips. "It looks really good. You got every little detail correct." He turned to face you and smiled.

You couldn't help but blush even more!

"Thank you!" You said to him.

"You have great artistic skills. I would love to learn from you" L says.

"Really?" You asked looking surprised.

He nodded at you and turned away slightly, his cheeks going slightly pink.

"Can I keep this drawing?" he asked.

"What?!" You asked looking shocked.

"Can I keep this?" L asked.

Your face went as red as tomatoes.

"Well, I don't see why not" you say, far too embarrassed to make eye contact with him.

"Thank you." L ripped the page carefully out of your sketch book and placed it on his desk.

"Will you do another drawing for me, (Y/N)? You're very good at drawing."

He smiled at you. God his smile is just the cutest thing ever! How could anyone say no to that?!

"Of course!" You smiled back at him.

"That's good to hear. I'm looking forward to seeing it" L says going back to his desk to work.

You looked down at your sketch book.

'I think I have a good idea of what to draw next', you thought to yourself.
