(Death Note) - L X Reader Oneshots!

Horror Movie

(A/N): Screw it! I can't create good titles! Also, this one is quite short, but I hope you like it nonetheless!

L had agreed to watch a movie with you tonight, and you were super excited! You both agreed to watch a horror movie called 'The Ring'. Apparently it was really scary.
You weren't a huge fan of horror movies, but you were curious to see what this movie was about. Plus, you loved horror anime. Same thing, right?

It soon got really late. It was midnight and you could hear footsteps of people going to their rooms to rest for the night. You sat there patiently waiting for L to come in so you could watch the movie together, hugging your favourite plush toy.

Soon, you heard your door open and quickly turned around to see L walking over to your sofa. He was carrying a laptop though.

"There you are!" You yell, not even caring about that."I thought you were never gonna come!"

"I'm sorry that I took so long, (Y/N)" L replied.

You smiled at him and grabbed his arm.

"Come on! Let's watch this movie!" You say. You were actually quite excited.

L put on the movie and you two sat on the sofa watching the screen. Not long after the movie had started, L pulled out his laptop and started typing on it.

"Ryuzaki!" You groan at him.

"What is it?" He turned to face you looking concerned.

"We're supposed to be watching the movie together!" You give him an upsetting look.

"Don't worry, (Y/N)" L said. "I can still see the TV screen. I have to keep a watch on Light Yagami since we are no longer handcuffed together. I also have to keep an eye on Misa Amane as well."

You rolled your eyes at him, but you understood. The world's greatest detective is a very busy man.

Soon, the scary parts of the movie started to kick in. You could feel yourself trembling. L had his face in his laptop screen to even notice you. It soon came to a point where you wanted to hold onto something to 'protect' you. You felt around the sofa for your plushie but couldn't find it. It was pitch black in the room as well, so that didn't help you.

Soon, you felt something. You didn't know what it was, and you didn't even care! You just wanted to hold onto something so you would stop trembling so much. You quickly grabbed whatever it was and held it tightly in your hand.

"(Y/N)?" L asked. "Why are you squeezing my hand?"

Wait! That was L's hand?!

You quickly let go of his hand and moved a little further away from him.

"I-I'm sorry!" You stammer. "I was l-looking for my plush toy and I th-thought your hand was my p-p-plushie!" You laughed nervously and scratched the back of your neck.

"Why were you looking for your toy? Are you scared? Would you like me to hug you?" L asked you.

"Well...uh..."

As if you weren't scared enough, you soon heard thunder and lightning outside, causing you to jump as high as a kite. You jump straight into L, causing him to fall back on the sofa, knocking his laptop over. You were now lying on top of him.

"Gah!! I'm sorry Ryuzaki!!" You squeal.

"That's quite alright, (Y/N)" L says. "It's okay to be scared."

"I think I broke your laptop" you say, feeling a heap off disappointment.

"That doesn't matter" L said.

You tried to get off L, just in case he felt uncomfortable. But he quickly wrapped his arms around you and pulled you back down into his chest.

"R-Ryuzaki?" You blushed madly.

L turned off the movie using the TV remote. He didn't let you go.

"I can see you are very scared. Calm down, alright?" He said, stroking your hair. "It's alright. You're safe if you stay with me" he smiled a little.

"Thank you" you say, giggling a bit.

"Now, try and rest. It was quite a bad idea putting the movie on so late, but I promise, nothing bad is going to happen to you, (Y/N)" L says softly.

"Alright then" you say, snuggling into him, soon falling asleep.

"You're so cute, (Y/N)" L says to himself. "Goodnight."
