(A/N): The continuation of 'A Special Surprise'. Plus, I have no idea how weddings are arranged so this is all just from what I know. No experience, so if anything sounds wrong it's because I don't know what happens. Anyways, enjoy!

(Y/N)'s Pov

It was really happening...

I was getting married to the world's greatest detective!!

I couldn't describe how happy I was!!

I was almost ready! My older sister was just fixing up my (H/C) hair.

"I'm so happy for you (Y/N)!" My sister said.

"Thank you", I say back.

"Alright! All done!" My sister stepped back to admire her work.

I stood up and looked at myself in the mirror.

"You look stunning (Y/N)! L will love it!" I could hear my sister's voice break.

"Aww! Don't cry!" I go over to my sister and give her a big hug.

"I just can't believe how much my little sis has grown up!" My sister sobbed.

I giggled a bit.

Soon, my best friend (F/N) came into my dressing room.

"Everything's ready! We're all just waiting for (Y/N)!"

"Alright!" My older sister left with (F/N). It was just me.

I felt my heart pound. As much as I was excited, I was really nervous too!

I looked at myself in the mirror one last time, before leaving the dressing room.

I soon spotted Watari standing by double doors. Everyone must waiting just past those doors!

"Hello (Y/N). You look lovely", Watari said to me and gave me a warm smile.

I blush a little and smile back at him.

"Thank you", I reply.

"Are you ready to go?" He asked me, holding his arm out for me.

I took a deep breath and linked my arm with Watari's.

We walked through the double doors to find everyone looking at us. God, I was so nervous!

I heard everyone gasp at me. All I could do was smile while my cheeks went bright red!

I look up to see L turn to look at me and Watari.

He was wearing a suit! For the first time in his life! I was such a lucky girl!!

As I approached L, Watari let go of my arm and sat down next to Mello.

I stood next to L as he looks me up and down and says:

"You look gorgeous (Y/N)".

"Thank you!" I giggle. "You look great too!"

"Thank you".

"Let us begin", the register said.

It was time!

"You ready?" I whispered to L.

"Of course. Why wouldn't I be? I've been waiting for this moment for a long time".

I blushed and smiled at him.

"Are you ready (Y/N)?" L asked me.

"I'm more than ready!"

"I'm glad to hear it".

"Do you, (Y/N) (L/N), take L Lawliet to be your lawfully wedded husband?" The register asked.

Everyone stared at me, as they waited for my answer. I turned to L and smiled, tears forming in my eyes.

"I do!"

"Don't cry (Y/N). You'll ruin your make up", L whispered to me.

"I can't help it!" I smile, as a small black tear ran down my face.

"And do you, L Lawliet, take (Y/N) (L/N) to be your lawfully wedded wife?" The register asked.

L turned to me and said:

"I do".

"YES!!" I hear Matsuda and (F/N) call out in the background.

"I now announce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride".

L and I then leaned in for a sweet kiss, L wrapping his arms around my waist and me wrapping my arms around L's neck.

I hear everyone cheer and clap as we break away.

L then picks me up, bridal style, catching me by surprise.

"This is my wife now!" L yelled at everyone.

I giggle and hide my face in embarrassment.

"L! Why would you do that?! That's so embarrassing!" I say.

"I can't show you off now?"

"W-Well-"

"No one touch my bride!" L said, causing everyone to laugh, including myself.

L then carried me back down the aisle, as I kiss his cheek.

I could never have been more happy, than to be the wife of L Lawliet!!
