First Kiss

(Y/N)'s Pov

So, L and I have been in a relationship for about 2 weeks now. But, we haven't actually shared our first kiss yet. We're just too embarrassed to do that and the situation just gets awkward. But, there's no rush. I wasn't going to rush him, just as I know that he wasn't going to rush me.

So, another boring day at the taskforce. It was late and everyone had left. It was just L and me. I was about to leave, when I caught L saying something.

"I wish I could kiss you."

I stopped and turned my head to face him.

"What did you say, Ryuzaki?" I ask him.

"Nothing. Have a good night (Y/N)" he replied and started sipping his tea that was bound to be cold since it had been sitting there for about 10 minutes.

I turned my whole body around and placed my hands on my hips. I smirked at him as if to say 'I know you're hiding something.'

"You don't have to lie to me, you know. I'm the only one here. Plus, why would you lie to your girlfriend, Ryuzaki?" I said and walked over to him.

I could see him tensing up. He knew I had caught on to it.

"You want me to kiss you, right?" I ask.

He started blushing. How cute! I've never seen L blush before!

"I...have wanted to kiss you (Y/N), but...I don't know how to. When I've asked the others for help, they just laughed at me."

He looked down at his feet. I just wanted to hug him so tightly and not let him go! But that would be weird in this situation.

"Well...we could try..." I began.

I lean towards him.

Before L could say anything, I pressed my lips against his, giving him a sweet kiss. He was shocked to start off with, but he eventually got used to it and kissed back. He was actually a very good kisser. Well, considering the fact that L can tie a cherry stem in a knot using only his tongue, I guess it makes sense.

I pulled away and saw his flushed face. He was so cute! I hid my face in embarrassment cause I couldn't help but feel really awkward at this moment.

"So...that's how you...kiss?" L asked, putting his fingers to his lips.

I took my hands away from my face and nodded at him.

"I'm glad, I'm known as your boyfriend. I would like to do that again."

I tensed up a little.

"Well, there's more where that came from" I say, giggling.

L got out of his chair and walked over to me.

"Yes. We are together after all" he said. And with that, he kissed me.

I was surprised at first but quickly kissed back. The kiss felt so nice and was really sweet. L pulled away.

"I want to surprise kiss you like that" he says. "It's cute seeing you so embarrassed afterwards."

"H-Hey!" I playfully hit his arm. He was getting me back for surprisingly kissing him.

"Well, how was that for a first kiss?" I asked.

"I like it" L says. "Your lips are so soft." He smiles his cute smile at me.

"And yours taste like sweets" I giggle.

"I was suspecting a 93% chance of my lips tasting like sweets" he said to me. He looked quite serious, and I couldn't help but laugh even more.

"Well, I should get going" I say to him. I pick up my bag and go to walk out the doors of the taskforce. "Goodnight!" I call to him and wave goodbye.

"Goodnight (Y/N). Sweet dreams. I...love you" L hesitantly says.

"I love you too, my little panda!" I giggle and walk out.
