Chapter 16

a/n- this chapter is about y/n hanging out with blackpink. jimin doesn't really show up in this chapter. if you wanna skip this one go ahead but i don't recommend it, a new character might show up ;). We're also just gonna skip to when y/n meets up with them cuz i'm too lazy for this shit hehe.

I walk into the mall and my breathe is instantly taken away. I had never been to this mall since it was on the other side of town but this is where Lisa told me to meet up with them. The mall had stores of all kinds, multiple levels and even rides ( a/n- i'm talking about the Mall of America if you haven't noticed. just pretend the mall of america is in korea k? hehe. great place. anyway). My thoughts were interrupted by my phone dinging. I pull my phone out of my back-pocket and realize that Rosé texted me.

Hey, we're at MAC. its on the 2nd floor. just take the elevator and make a left. it's the first store u will c :). cya there! <3

Alright. see ya :)

Following Rosé directions, I head to the elevator. I pasted an aquarium, multiple restaurants and a mini amusement park before even reaching the elevator. Damn, they extra as hell, I thought to myself as I stepped into the elevator. I pressed the button that had the number 2 written on it. The door was about to close when someone start yelling,

"Hold the elevator!" frantically. I put my arm between the closing doors and they reopened. A guy stepped into the elevator and I have to admit he was pretty cute.

"Thank you." He said with a slight smile on his face.

"No problem." I replied looking at him, then putting my head down trying to keep calm as he was really close to me. I kept taking deep breathes, keeping my eyes closed but then he said something.

"Are you alright?" He asked worriedly while turning to face me.

"Yeah, I'm fine." I responded while slowly backing away.

"I'm Mark. What's your name?" He asked, obviously trying to distract me from whatever was running through my mind.

"Y/N." I said bluntly.

"Nice to meet you, Y/N." He said while sticking his hand out for me to shake. Immediately after that the elevator doors opened.

Saved by the bell, I thought to myself.

I was about to leave when,

"Wait, Y/N. Can I maybe get your number?" he asked.

"Why?" I asked, genuinely curious.

"Because you're cute and I wanna get to know you." He said with a smirk.

Should I give it to him? What about Jimin? Y/N shit the fuck up. forget about jimin.

"Aight, gimme your phone." I said while holding my hand out.

He smiled as he put his phone into my hand. I quickly added my number and gave it back.

"It was nice meeting you, Mark." I said, running out of the elevator and into MAC.

"You too." I heard him yell.

Just as I entered MAC I heard the girls yell my name.

"Y/N! There you are! We thought you might have gotten lost." Jennie said while walking up to me, the rest following behind her.

"Nope..I'm...here." I said in between breathes.

"Are you okay? Why are you out of breathe?" Jisoo asked.

"I ran from the elevator to here. I'm fine." I replied.

"Why'd you run?" Lisa cut in.

"There was this really cute guy and imayhavegivenhimmynumber." I said in all one breathe.

"WHAT?" they all asked in unison.

"I gave him my number and I didn't want it to get awkward hehe." I replied while walking away to look at they makeup they had on display.

"B-but what about Jimin?" Rosé asked.

"What about him?" I replied while picking up an eyeshadow palette and swatching it.

"Weren't y'all a thing?" Lisa asked obviously confused.

"Were. Past tense. We were, now we're not." I kept it simple.

"I think you should let him explain. Maybe there's an explanation for everything." Jennie said while taking the palette from me, forcing me to look at her.

"Please, Y/N. Just let him explain." Rosé added.

"Maybe. And that's my final answer."

"BETTER THAN A NO!" Lisa yelled, catching the attention of everyone in the room.

"Okay, enough about Jimin. Let's just have a girls day. No talk about boys." Jisoo said, followed by all of us nodding our heads in agreement.

Once we stopped talking about boys and drama we had a great time.

But I knew that I'd have to to talk to him tomorrow.

And that was gonna be hard as hell.
