Falling in love with him was easy, spying him across the parking lot with his alabaster skin and mesmerizing eyes. She knew what she felt was real opposed to the other girls that declared their love for him. Roman kept the pain in her heart quiet, hushing the emotions for the boy that never once looked her way.

Falling in love with her was easy, feet carrying her across the waxed gymnasium floor from where she played basketball to the clumsy girl's side as she got whacked in the head with a volleyball. She knew what she felt was real when the boys who followed the new girl around like puppy dogs only stood and laughed. Roman was the one that helped the girl up, falling for the embarrassed pink cheeks and downcast eyes.

Keeping her heart on lockdown was easy, pushing the stutters and the wild thrums whenever she saw them away, ignoring the way it tore in two when she saw them together. Roman waa good at smiling at smiling into her locker when they happened to look her way.

Falling into despair when he left and she fell apart was easy. She was the only one who truly cared, the only one that braved the walk in the cold, fist hovering over the door before leaving unannounced.

Falling into the sun was easy when the door finally opened without even needing to knock.

I do not in any shape or form own Twilight. All rights go to the brilliant Stephenie Meyers. Anything that is familiar comes from her work.

However, I do own Roman Elder as well as any other original character and the story line that involves them. Please do not steal my work or ideas, I have worked very hard on them.

NOTE

Polyamorous relationships, as it is depicted in my story, are not all the same, nor could they be anything like this at all. I tried my best to keep things as realistic and authentic as possible, but obviously points have been exagerated for the sake of the plot and it's ability to fit in the Twilight Universe. Please, take what is being portrayed with a heavy dose of salt.
