hello.
it had been a long time since I had started this book, since Roman Elders came into existence and became the love of my life. It hasn't always been easy and it hasn't always been fun, but this is how it ends, how it was meant to end.
Her story is one that was meant to seem a little unrealistic for even the Twilight Universe because it was all the things I wanted and OC to have, all the happy endings and good things I want my characters to receive. Roman was very self-indulgent in that sense and very clear about her opinions on certain things. I wanted to make her a character that wasn't incredibly smart and didn't have any interesting quirks with overwhelmingly redeemable qualities -- I wanted her to be as regular as a girl that hangs out with vampire and werewolves could be while still getting her happy ending simply because of how powerful her feelings were.
Because when Roman loves, she loves dangerously and I hope that it was shown through her character how strong your emotions could make you.
That isn't to say that some parts of their relationship didn't appear unjust or toxic. There were some points that were unrealistically fixed with the magic of communication, but that was just how things were meant to be on their journey to happiness.
If you're being treated any less than what you deserve in a relationship, then do what you need to do to make sure that you stay happy and healthy.
Anyway, I just wanted to thank you all for staying to read till the end and for enjoying Roman's story enough not to give up on her. I can't thank you all enough for the reads, votes, and comments that I've gotten and just want to say that you're all the best!!
There will be a continuation, not so much a sequel, about Romulus and Elspeth, so keep an eye out for that. I hope to see you all again there, or in any of my other books! :)
So I suppose that this is goodbye for now, or a see you later.
