Greyson was getting suspicious, which worried me a lot. I knew he was not dumb and that he may be able to figure out something was not right.

Friday morning came, and I remembered how fun today was. Greyson and I were going on our first official date, even though it was with a group, I was excited. The school day dragged on, but when the final bell rang, I was happier than ever.

Greyson came up to my locker and kissed my cheek.

"See you tonight," he said. I nodded and he walked off.

"Dang girl, you two are freaking adorable!" Erin gushed.

"I know, tonight is going to be awesome," I replied.

"Totally! Do you need a ride?" Erin asked me.

"No, Grey is picking me up. Thanks though," I said back.

"Yeah, no problem, see you tonight," Erin said. She gave me a smile and walked off. I walked in the other direction, making my way to the school parking lot. I met Meredith in the car.

"Hey Girl, what's up?" she asked me, as she pulled out of the parking lot.

"Not much, plans tonight?" I asked.
"Yeah, some friends and I are going roller skating, you?" she asked.

"Date with Greyson," I replied, and she smiled at me devilishly.

"Sissy, I told you. I knew you would do fine here," Meredith told me. I smiled. When we reached our house, our parents were not home, as always. It felt like they had left us and we did not have them anymore. I realized that Meredith had felt like this for a long time. I used to always go with my parents to the lab, and we left Meredith at home.

I walked into our house and scurried up the stairs to my bedroom, knowing I was leaving on a few hours to go to the movies. My phone chimed. It was Greyson.

Grey♡- Hey want me to pick you up around 4:30 instead of 6? We could grab dinner.

Me- Yeah for sure, see you even sooner 😘

Grey- xo

I knew now I had limited time to get myself ready. I grabbed a pair of ripped jeans and threw on a crop top, hoping to somewhat show off the abs I had worked so hard for. I threw a floral wrap over the top. I straightened my hair and added a little bit of extra makeup to my face. I looked in the mirror and realized I did not look too bad.

Then, my bedroom door opened.

"Aw, you look pretty P," Meredith exclaimed as she saw me.

"Thanks, so do you," I replied. She looked cute, with jeans, a cropped Adidas sweatshirt, and vintage Adidas tennies.

I heard my phone ding, and it was Greyson. He was here.

"He's here, I'll see you later. Have fun Mer," I told her. She gave me a quick hug.

"You too, be smart and safe okay? Mom isn't here to tell you," she told me. I nodded and walked out the front door. Grey's Jeep was waiting for me, and I got into the car.

"Hey P," Grey said excitedly.

"Hey Grey," I replied.

"You look so pretty," he told me. I smiled bashfully. He looked into my eyes and kissed my cheek. I loved it when he did that. It made me feel safe. As we finished, he pulled out of the driveway.

Dinner was incredible. I learned so much about Greyson, and the conversation was just so natural and perfect. He was such a gentleman and had total respect for women.

Once we reached the movie theater, I noticed Erin, Danielle, Jess, and Carly, along with their boyfriends... I had only formally met Matt, but Grey had talked about Sawyer, Drew, and Cameron before. Grey opened the car door for me, and we walked up to meet them, hand in hand.

"Wow, did we tell you, or did we tell you?" the guy with Jess said to Grey, I think his name was Drew. I ignored his comment.

"I'm Peyton, nice to meet you all," I said.

"Drew."

"Cameron."

"Sawyer."

The girls all came up to me, excited to see I was here.

"You and Grey are so cute," Carly whispered in my ear. We walked into the theater, and I got to know the guys. Cameron was all kind of hilarious, and Drew was super sweet. Sawyer was really spunky and was a total live-on the edge kind of guy. Let's just say, full savage mode at all times.

As the movie played, I did not realize how scary it really was. I squeezed the heck out of Greyson's poor hand and let out a few yelps. Everyone laughed at me, and when the movie was over, I could not help but laugh too. We all had a great time, and everything went perfectly. Greyson was a great guy and I was happy to be with him.
