"So how are you?" I asked Maggie as we sat on my bed. I knew Josh wanted to talk to Greyson about everything that was going on, so I got the task of hanging out with Mags, which I actually didn't mind at all.
"Pretty good. School has been fun and soccer starts soon," she explained.
"That sounds like fun! Did football end?" I asked her. I always thought it was so cute that she played flag football. She always wanted to be just like her big brother.
"Yeah, I miss it. I was having so much fun, even with all those stinky boys," she said and I laughed.
"I'm so happy you had fun," I told her.
"Yeah some of my friends said they may want to play next year, but I think they may chicken out. It's a little scary sometimes," she said and I laughed again.
"I could definitely see that. I know you went to some of Greyson's games, do you like watching him play?" I asked.
"For the most part, yeah. But sometimes he does things I don't agree with, so I have to give him pep talks on how to do better," she said.
"Do you now? How does he have to do better?" I asked, laughing.
"Sometimes he calls plays that shouldn't be called. There are just better options," she explained.
"I see," I replied, trying to hold in my laughter.
"Peyton, I have a secret to tell you, you have to promise not to tell anyone, okay?" she confirmed.
"I promise I won't tell anyone," I swore, giving her a pinky promise.
"Okay, I'm only telling you this, because I think it's for the best. But, I'm pretty sure Greyson still has feelings for you," she let out.
