Greyson kissed my cheek after I had finished my words. He looked at me deeply and I softly grabbed his hand.

"Do you want me to go get some of the guys? I'm sure they are dying to see you," I asked him.

"Yeah, but can you stay?" he asked softly.

"Of course," I replied and kissed his cheek. I got up from the room, leaving Grey alone. I walked out to the waiting room. Everyone stood up, curious about what I had to say.

"Sawyer, Josh, Drew, Cameron, and Matt, Grey wants to see you," I explained. They all nodded and came to walk with me. I lead them to Greyson's room and I noticed Matt giving me the evil eye from across the hall. I ignored it the best I could, unsure of what he would want me to do. I opened the door and the guys came piling into the room.

"Grey! What the heck bro, you scared all of us!" Cameron exclaimed.

"Yeah, we realized how hard football is without our star player," Josh pepped. I noticed how loud they were and I felt bad for Grey because of his head. He laughed though, which was good.

After lots more visits and talking, Greyson's parents came back. Everyone else had gone home besides Meredith and Josh, who was waiting for me. The doctors admitted him to be sent home, which was definitely a good thing. I knew it was probably time for me to go and I felt bad making Josh and Meredith wait. He was back in regular clothes and would be going home soon, so I thought this would be a good time.

"Grey, I should probably take off," I said.

"Of course you should, you have been here all night. Go home sweetheart," Mrs. Kole expressed sweetly. I smiled and nodded. I walked over to Greyson, who was now sitting up on the bed. He put his hand in mine.

"Thank you, Peyton, I don't know what I would have done without you tonight," he said softly.

"Of course, I know you would have done the same for me. Rest up, okay kid?" I told him. He nodded with half a smile.

"Bye Peyton," Maggie called after me.

"Bye Mag," I replied with a smile.

"Thank you again," Mrs. Kole said kindly. I nodded and left the room. I rubbed my forehead as I walked slowly back to the waiting room.

"Peyton, hold up a sec," a voice called. I turned around and saw Greyson. I raced over to him and bear hugged him. I could help but burst into tears once more. I was exhausted and I still was processing what had occurred.

"It's okay baby girl," Greyson whispered into my ear. I looked up and kissed him, not caring where we were. Our lips moved with a synch, and I wanted him more than ever.

"Get a room," some grumpy nurse called after us. We retreated from our kiss and we both burst out laughing.

"I'll see you soon, ok my girl? We still have homecoming, which is going to rock," Greyson told me.

"Yes, it is, bye," I replied. He went back into the hospital room and I found my way to the waiting room. Meredith and Josh stood up.

"Ready to go, girlfriend?" Meredith asked me.

"Yeah, thanks for waiting," I expressed.

"No problem," Josh said. We made out way out to the car and I checked my phone. 1 AM. What a day it had been.
