A/N: Hey my lovely people! I'm so sorry I haven't been talking to you guys or responding or anything...life has been annoyingly hectic again and I just can't seem to keep my head above the water. Sometime soon I promise to get on here and go through the comments and talk to you all. I hate that I haven't been interacting with you guys because I miss you all so much! Hopefully you can forgive me and this mini hiatus will be over soon. Thank you all, avain, for the continued support and I hope you enjoy this chapter. Talk to you all soon!!!

The thunder sounded while the rain fell and washed over your skin. Your body was growing cold as the life was spilling out of you. There was no hope, nothing you could do to save yourself. The spike reached deep inside you, and it was only a matter of time until you bled out on the forest floor. Still, though, you crawled along the twig covered ground in attempt to find help.

"Help," you tried to yell, though it was no more than a whimper. Tears continued to fall as a result of pain and frustration. You had hoped your death would be something more heroic than this. Sure, dying because of a monster was nearly inevitable, but you always pictured it would happen while trying to save someone.

Your ankle was throbbing and there was no doubt that it was broken. Though it hurt, the pain was less than a drop in a bucket compared to your side. It felt hot, like someone had a knife that had been soaked in fire pressed into your flesh.

"Sam," you cried. "Dean! Anyone," your voice faded out in the end in defeat. They wouldn't find you or hear you, especially with the storm raging on. Your consciousness was waning and it seemed easier to give up.

"Y/N," the sound of Sam's voice filled the air and lifted your spirits. Maybe you weren't going to die after all.

"Sam, help!" you screeched, forcing your body onward along the ground. If Sam couldn't find you, you would bleed out. You had to do what you could to get to him in order to survive. "Woods," you shouted to give him any sort of direction.

You could hear his monstrous footsteps stamping down the earth of the forest. He was close, so you stopped moving and shut your eyes for a moment of rest. You were so cold and tired, it felt good to let go for a moment.

"Y/N," Sam gasped, causing your eyes to slowly flutter open. Before you had a chance to respond, he was cradling your body against his chest. You looked up at him and noticed a few cuts and bruises.

"What happened to you?" you asked.

"Shh," he scolded as he quickly walked out of the forest. The rain hit you harder without the cover of the forest and you shivered. Sam clutched you tighter against his chest.

"Sam," you whispered, "I'm tired." The fact scared you. It was no secret that your life was slipping from you, and in the forest when you had no chance of living, it wasn't scary. That wasn't the case now. There was a chance that Sam could get you help, and you were terrified you wouldn't last long enough to receive it.

"You're gonna be okay, stay with me. I'll get Dean here, and Cas can heal you up, and it will be okay."

Sam walked a small distance before resting on the guard rail, your body growing colder with time from the rain and blood loss. He managed to pull his phone from his pocket without jostling your body much, and called who you only assumed to be Dean.

You could hear him talking, but none of it made any sense. It seemed to be background noise that was afar off, almost echoing. It was bizarre not to make out what he was saying with him being so close to you. You knew that it shouldn't have been hard to understand him.
