You and Dean were painting the nursery a pale gray, the best color you could think to make it for a boy and a girl. Each half of the room would be decorated for each of the babies. All of the furniture was sitting in the hallway and in your room waiting to be assembled where it should be.

You had just finished putting the finishing touches on the girl's half of the room when Dean said, "We should talk about names."

You groaned. Ever since finding out the genders of your babies, you had been actively avoiding determining what names. Finding one name to permanently stick a kid with was daunting enough, but having to choose two...

You sank into the cushioned rocking chair and ran a hand through your tangled hair. "Hit me with suggestions," you said.

Dean  folded his arms and leaned against the crib in the middle of the room. He gave you a crooked grin and shook his head. "Don't you have any ideas?"

"Can we look up names and see what we like?"

Dean agreed, so the two of you walked downstairs and sat close on the couch to serf through the laptop for names. After a long time you and Dean compiled a list of names.

"What do you think of these two?" You reached out across him and circled two names.

"Aiden and Ava," he said with a smile. "I like it. And I've been thinking about middle names..." he trailed off, like he was unsure of himself.

This was the Dean you were used to. The closed off, insecure guy you met so long ago when he and Sam saved you from those hellhounds. He was certainly more open than he used to be, but sometimes old tendencies die hard.

"And?" you prompted.

"There have been a lot of people that have died in my lifetime, and, well I know it's the same for you, so I feel selfish asking to give our kids middle names of people from my life—"

"Dean," you said, cutting him short. "You don't have to feel bad or explain yourself. I get it, and I'm not mad or whatever."

"Robert for Aiden and Jo for Ava?"

"Aiden Robert and Ava Jo," you said, testing out the names. "They're perfect. I assume Robert is for that Bobbie, but who was Jo?"

Dean got a far away look in his eyes and didn't look at you as he spoke. "Jo was a good girl. Her and her mom...they're the reason Sam and I are alive, at least at that point in time they were. Jo saved me from a hellhound and she wasn't going to make it. Her mom stayed back with her and they sacrificed themselves for us."

"You loved her," you stated hollowly.

"I--yeah, I did," he said with a hint of shame. "I get if you don't want to use that as a name."

Your face softened. "I both care and don't care. She helped save you guys. And I like how it sounds."

So Aiden Robert and Ava Jo were the names you prepared to name the little ones growing inside you.

A/N: It's just a short little epilogue, but what do you guys think of the names? Do you like them or do you think they should be something different? And do you enjoy these epilogues or are they straying too far away from the supernatural world?

I hope you enjoyed it!
