A/N: So, Hi

Please take the time to read this. I have a bad habit of skipping over author's notes when I read and ignore the thing that always says to read it...but I have some importantish things to say, along with some stuff you're probably used to hearing. And also, a couple questions to ask ya'll.

Okay, I know I said I would work on catching up on comments, but holy cow. You guys have been so active lately, it would take me forever to do. I always hated reading books where authors wouldn't acknowledge me or my comments because I always felt like it couldn't be that hard of a task...I get it now.

And don't take that as a complaint, please! I'm so grateful for all of you, old and new members of this crazy awesome little family. And to those of you who have been recently commenting, I want you to know that I've seen each one pop up in notifications. I haven't been able to really respond to them, but I do see them. And each one instantly brings a smile to my face. It's amazing to have people get so engrossed that they comment their feelings. So thank you for being engaged and making me love this 'job'. (Job being used loosely because I get paid nothing. And to answer some questions, those ads you see aren't my fault. I've had a couple questions about if you saw the ads because I get revenue. Unfortunately not. The ads are just there to screw us all over and make the reading experience slightly less...immersive. That's just my opinion on the Wattpad update for that. Anyway, moving on before I get myself in trouble :P )

Rant over with that. And I also wanted you guys to know that because I dislike that your reading experience is interrupted and if I had the option to change it for you I would. Okay, now rant over.

This was supposed to be a hello to new readers and a thanks. My brain is so off track tonight.

But seriously. There's been SO MANY of you that are new. And since I put off welcoming you personally for too long (I"m seriously so sorry about that), HELLO!!! I'm so glad to have you, and so many of you have left such kind words and also just entertaining comments. SO thanks for keeping me entertained :)

And those of you who have been around from practically the beginning and further, thank you so much for still being here and putting up with all my random author's notes and erratic updating schedule. It means a lot that you're all still here and supporting both me and this book.

On to the second part of this note. The actually very important notice:

So, in two weeks on June 5th I will be having a back surgery. I'm a young person trapped in an old fart's body. :P Joking aside, I seriously have no clue what to expect. I'm pretty certain the 6th will be the update that happens after this wednesday's update. I'm just warning you now that I don't know what my writing schedule will be like for a while.

I'm trying to cram an entire summer into these next 2 weeks so that I can feel like it wasn't totally wasted being drugged up and on a couch or bed. That being said, I'll do my best to write, but like I said, I really want to accomplish some things and be active and outdoors while I can be.

Sorry if the whole surgery thing affects the updating and everything for a bit. I will seriously try my best to keep everything as it should be. I don't want to let you guys down anymore with updating, but I'm not making promises. But I will try my hardest. Just bear with me through all of this.

Sorry if this sounds like I'm complaining or making excuses. But as my faithful readers, I wanted to update you on what's going on in my life and give you a reason for the possible future of less updates. (FIngers crossed slow updates won't happen!!)

Third part. Some Fun:

So this is the part where I want to talk to you. I said I'd do conversation chapters and have literally only done one. Way to go Brooke...

Any way, I'm curious where you guys want to see happening in the future (other than a relationship. IT's in the works, I promise.) But for the future of the plot, what do you want or where do you think I'm taking it based on events so far. I'm curious to hear your theories. THey're always fun to read. Plus, sometimes I like to take your ideas and incorporate them with a dedicated chapter. This book should be just as much yours as mine. :)

That's all for now. This was a long note and covered random ground, but I personally felt it was all necessary. This is a question I definitely want answered, do you get annoyed by these author's notes? I want to be involved with you guys and be a real person to you, not just an elusive author that never speaks. But I don't want to be annoying either...even if I am though, honestly sometimes these are necessary notes.

I'm rambling again.
